Sam, you know that anything that goes down sketchy in the Sutton California area and the people were driving an older Dodge truck, you're going to get the blame. You own more 12 valve trucks than most dealerships sold back in the day.
Sam, I have been collecting since I was 14. Dodge man because my Dad set the trend by bringing me and my Mom home from the hospital in a 1964 Dodge Polara 500 426 4 barrel street wedge, rated at just 365hp with a 833 new process 4 speed, and a salsbury 8 3/4" rear with 3:23:1 gear., it was (and is) my dream car. Then Dad bought a '66 Dodge Tradesman longbed and put a coachman camper in the bed and that became our family vacation cruiser. These years later, I have the 426 in my garage, the original 66 Tradesman is lost to the river of time, but I keep the faith. If I find it, I'll buy it back. And haul it home with one of my Cummins Buzzin" Half Dozens. I have several, mostly second gen, and a couple 1st gen stick trucks. My Granddad and Dad and Uncle all worked at Cummins and I have followed in their footsteps too. 29 years ago I walked into the top secret chassis dyno at the Cummins Tech Center and sitting on the rollers, complete with a fake 1st gen doghouse made out of handlaid fiberglass, was a prototype T-300 Dodge second gen test truck. My Brother in Arms got me in the dyno to see it because he knew, if there was a kid ANYWHERE in the United States who was truer or bluer to the Dodge or Cummins line,,, it was me. He just let me walk around and look at it as it sat,,, with the fake canopy of fiberglass, resting over top of the real doghouse underneath the skin of white paint they had covered the truck in. If you can imagine what any old soldier or knight must have felt of the quickening, when the realization of the moment was upon them, either that their very next move was going to determine whether they lived, or died, right there, on that spot,,, that, was the feeling I experienced in the chassis dyno that evening. My Brother in Arms, Steve Dougherty, knew what it would mean to me, to witness the next big news that Dodge was going to release in 1993. And there it sat, chained down to the chassis rollers in the Cummins Technical Center in Columbus Indiana in 1992. These trucks are the by damndest best step forward by Dodge, since they created the M-37 Power Wagon As a Dodge kid from birth, carried home in a superstock Dodge, raised in a household that was built by a WWII Veteran 82nd Airborne Trooper and his tall redheaded wife, in a small town just south of the World Headquarters of Cummins.
This is a Rerun. Hey Sam, this my second time watching this video. It's still amazing. This was the first video of yours I saw and I've been hooked since.
takes care of it??? HAHAHA that sucker is DOOMED! He tore that $100,000 any level lift ford up and that monster truck has had $1000s of repairs and gear boxes.
Sam, your white '01 is called an ST trim level. 94-97 Reg cabs were WS, LT, SPORT, and SLT. Club cabs were ST, SPORT, and SLT. 98-01 & 02 2500 and 3500 were WS, ST, SPORT, and SLT You have an awesome collection of 2nd gens. Thanks for keeping them alive!
Nice fleet! I like the darker gray on grandma's truck as well. The white 3500 dually is my fav for sure! Although, grandma's truck is pretty damn cool!
I love my 05 5.9 high output regular cab 8' dark gray laramie. When I bought it in July it only had 44k on it. If I can find more I'll probably invest in a 3500 or 5500 if the body is in good condition.
That white truck, has a broken mixer motor on the ac unit. Easy and cheap fix, my 02 used to do that. Just a little motor that moves the damper between the hot and cold air supply.
Sam what a great collection. I can believe the body condition on those things. Picked up my 07 (5.9)Mega in Boulder Colorado, brought her back to NY and within a few yrs crazy bed cancer.
I know a guy who I buy parts from now and again whose yard is filled with about 10-15 different duramaxes at any given time lol. I just dont know how he always finds the cool shit but he always has something I want that he beat me to buying first.
Great video of a collection of American made Dodge Trucks as the older trucks are gaining value! I have a garage kept 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat crew cab 4x4 7.3 diesel with 61,000 miles I have owned since brand new that I was going to sell but I just love my truck because I have never have had any problems with it!
I had always heard a lot of bad things about Ram trucks and a couple of years ago I wanted a truck and traded my 2013 Chevy Equinox straight up for a 2008 Ram 1500 with about the same mileage and although I had to replace a water pump, ( at 125,000) she purrs like a kitten and I couldn`t be happier.
I'm subscribed lol always love your videos. Man wish I could afford to buy a Dodge Ram 2500-3500 diesel. I hate everything else. That white 3500 looks nice
You really did, and it bothers the crap out of me because I have a 97 that is sitting about 200mil back in my home town begging to be back to running right. While I'm literally driving my work truck everywhere because I can't find parts for my Dodge because the good ol'boys swear the trucks are worth 10k+, running or non!
My dads got a 95 2nd gen 5.2 magnum factory auto double cab 2 door 4wd emerald green with 70k original miles not much done to it just a 6inch lift and some hummer wheels with fender flares and spacers, things his baby had it for about 10 years now and I've only been able to drive it ones. Love the second gem but they are definitely getting collectable now so are getting expensive, also really hard to find in the uk in good condition.
Go to the junk yard and buy the blend door actuator from the jeep Cherokee and it will fix that problem for some reason the jeep actuator is stronger. Fixed my trucks issue.
A good diesel truck in general is hard to come by with out forking over an arm and a leg. Good fleet iv got alot of vehicles myself but I settled on a 06 super duky with 108k miles was just to clean and everything to pass up. Diesels hold there value alot better then gas for sure.
Make a 6x6 with one of the working ones and just chop up the back of one of the ones that's not working and just get a divorced transfer case for the back it be pretty sweet grocery getter/tow rig
I know what you mean Sam. I had a 97 Dodge 5 speed manual that I got from my dad a long time ago and loved that truck. Like a dummy I went and traded in on a smaller truck. Wished I'd never done that. Now I have my dads 97 Dodge with a automatic in and wished I knew how to chang it to a manual. I'm trying to get it on the road. It runs just not great. I don't know much about diesel's but I am learning slowly but surely.
It’s crazy how every RAM is different , I have a 2012 and it has no navigation...I’ve seen a 2016 with no navigation ...So I’ve learned that no navigation screen or annoying Bluetooth calling is the best thing to ever happen to me🚎 I don’t want nobody calling me when I’m driving my RAM🐏 and I don’t want no bright screen in my face !
You should turn cowboy into the walker Texas ranger truck. I’ve always wanted one and still on the lookout for one. But it would be awesome to see trucknorris in a diesel.
I have or have had 2 of your trucks. Same color schemes and all. Currently have an ‘01red/ gray two tone ( the one you sold) with a stick..before that had a ‘98 white/ gray shortbed like the one on the trailer. Only difference is mine are equipped with v-10’s. So much cheaper to buy and pound for pound are a great bargain in my opinion. Obviously not Cummins but perfect for my needs. My dad and my bro in law also have v-10’s. Subscribed.
I want a dually of this style so bad but every one wants a fortune for them I’d love one I live in Canada I know we’re one is I got to check out it’s a dually diesel it’s got a fair bit of rust but I think it’s worth fixing mostly tailgate rockers and doors and I think bumper in back hope he will sell it
Cool build ive always wanted someone to build and with parts you have you could do a 12 valve, tandem axle make it look like a little semi fifth wheel catwalk on frane fenders over wheels be cool build to see
Sam I gotta tell you my favorite one is the one with the Cummins 🤣
Are you an idiot? The one with the Cummins is clearly better!
@@reaperreaper5098 thanks for pointing it out I was ready to buy a turd
🤣
My fav is the 5 speed.
@@cumminschevy5275 the one with the cummins is better than both of those
So you're the reason I can't find one for sale.
I want a 98 2500 Cummins for my first truck but I live in Cali so everything is so expensive
@@Oogabooga33 Have fun with emission bullshit is california
i got a 2001 for sale 4x4 210000 miles lots of new parts 9000 for it
I agree
You’re livin the dream. I only have 3. I want 12, but the lady just doesn’t understand 😂
LOL, you have to buy her stuff once in awhile and then slowing ease that forth one in and then repeat the step. Diplomacy is an art.
It’s cause your ol’ lady has half a brain and knows that owning 3 is about 3 dodges too many.
Your lady is right, you don’t need 12, 2 is enough
Having 3 or more..everyone is asking you why lol...I know the feeling.
"is that your truck? Would you help me move?"
No
Imagine waking up in the morning and realizing that you left your wallet in to a Dodge.. Hmm which one
Probably the one you were last in...
Sam, you know that anything that goes down sketchy in the Sutton California area and the people were driving an older Dodge truck, you're going to get the blame. You own more 12 valve trucks than most dealerships sold back in the day.
Hi my name is Sam and I’m addicted to Dodge Cummins pickup trucks. Lol. Nice collection!
Admitting you have a Dodge, Cummins, 12 valve, mans mission, addiction is the first step lol

Yeah I doubt that’s gonna happen

Yes!!! Thanks Sam! Quite an impressive fleet!

Most excellent sam! Need a German shepherd option on all trucks!!
Wish I didn’t have to sell mine. If you want to send one my way it would be greatly appreciated.
Earn it

Why buy 12 Rams when you can just buy 1 GMC? Just kidding. Great video!
Welcome to V-BELT and SON Dodge, Ram dealer. You need a truck I got the trucks! Just kidding! Nice lineup of CUMMINS power!
Haha dang it that would have been a good intro 😂😂
Awesome video. This makes me feel better about my 2 12 valves and 2 08s.....I did email you asking about if I should get rid of any of them...😄 👍👍👍
I think I can say this for most of us, we all wanna be this man
I’m copying your single cab with the camper. I love the looks of it
You should buy a 2wd and call it the general cummins. High hp tune and a 2wd nv5600. Make it a tire roasting party machine🥳🥳💨💨💨
I wish I could get just one of those.....
Just so I could get my family owned hauling business back up and running.
Been looking forward to this one 🤘🏻
I think you got a addiction bro
Hell yeah brother 🤘 Nother better then waking up and seeing you posted a video
I'm subscribed lol always love your videos. Man wish I could afford to buy a Dodge Ram 2500-3500 diesel. I hate everything else. That white 3500 looks nice
Time for some compound turbos on one of them.
You bought 12, no wonder i cant find one, YOU HAVE EM ALL,, LOL
The wonders of living in Cali. Those trucks in New England would all be a fortune rust free like that!!!
Go with anthracite gray for that last truck. Bit darker than that door but would look clean.
I've always wanted to see multiple of these trucks get on a dyno and see how different owners trucks do after years of maintenance
Gotta repaint grandma's truck back to its light almond glory brother. #lightalmondgang
Best part is , you don't have to buy a Zero turn to cut
Your grass , all you need is a cheapo push mower to cut grass in between them.
Man how do you do it. need a couple more an army of rams!
That’s too much awesome in one location at the same time. I’m surprised time didn’t stop.
My yard looks similar except they’re all Powerstrokes LOL
Only 6 of them now though 🤞
I just discovered this channel. And I Love It! ❤️

That one red truck that is dirty had an actual camper on the bed you can tell by the tabs between the cab and the bed.
Yes sir
great truck and video i starting my 2nd gen collection now too looking for my second one next
Hey Sam, make a video about your off road front bumpers. Good bad and ugly and which ones you like etc
Solid truck...not sure why you need 12 but that's on you.
I thought i had a lot of stuff laying around .. i feel so much better now.
C’mon guy.. buy a 95 F350 powerstroke dually. might change your life. :)
You could start filming Yellowstone season 5.

Nice collection there. Can’t find a nice priced 3rd gen here without rust. Anything older is either rusted out or they want a mint for it
I have 18 Cummins all work trucks I run a lawn care business most are flatbed duallys from 1995 to 2018
So thats where they all went
😂😂
Your the reason the prices keep going up on these!

I’m getting in to the diesel game. Love the Cummins/mopar stuff. Love the hemis though. Shout out from Racine Wisconsin ✊🏽
We’ve got a ‘19 #PW 🤘 aaand at like 10-15 mpg’s 🤮 vs. my ‘04 #CUMMINS with the #NV5600MANi. At like 17 mpg’s 🤤 Cummins ANY day!!
