    Let me put it this way.... Combat is nothing like sparring, in sparring you deploy your taught techniques to hone them, and while sparring is good training the fact that there is a certain reluctance to go at full speed or strength. In actual fighting I would most likely fight a lot less fairly than in sparring.

    The fact is that there isn't a single person alive today who can prove their lineage back to the true teachers of ninjutsu. So nobody can ever know the most authentic ninjutsu that was taught centuries ago. But if you understand the greater concept of ninjutsu as a lifestyle, and how they were able to think outside the box to accomplish their goals, then you can understand that this school of modernized ninjutsu still applies the principles of ninjutsu into combat.

    A punch to the back isn't going to hurt much, the point of the turn is so that they can't even tell that you have a knife. It obviously won't be useful is the enemy has a baseball bat or a gun. The other reason for turning the back is because the enemy will think you are trying to run away, giving them a false sense of security. Notice how he crouches and tilts his head down to protect his head, it makes his head a small target, and the momentum of the spin will help redirect the enemy's arm.

    I dont know if you've ever heard of Antony Cummins, but he's done extensive research in the area of ninjutsu. Ninutsu isn't a fighting art, ninjutsu is a way of life. The fighting aspect in just a small part of what the ninja learned. Ninjas didn't learn 'ninjutsu' to fight. They learned other fighting styles similar to what the samurai learned. They were soldiers. The difference would be in the small varations and tactics that the ninja used to apply the techniques.

    Why different gears? It's about level differences, or it's optional to the ninja?

    By the time he tries to pull his knife..... He will be on the floor in a lot of pain. I've dealt with people like this. Akimaxdoru is an old system that incorporates the best of Ninja Tai-jutsu Akijujitsu Combat Judo and Kombato karate with Miyama ru jujitsu for good measure, A simple but dangerous system used by both military special forces and law enforcement.

    Very well, i respect your opinion. I just think there is no true authentic ninjutsu anymore because it's been lost through the ages and watered down and modified, all we can understand is the concepts and apply them in our own ways. Although I'm interested, where did you train in ninjutsu?

    So I'll say it one last time, ninjutsu isn't a fighting art, it's a way of life. The ninja learned various different jutsus, the difference was in the deceptive tactics they used to apply them. Ninjas didn't fight in tournaments, they were soldiers, spies, scouts, etc. trained for warfare. They learned to pick locks, spy, infiltrate, etc. Boxing, wrestling, jiujitsu, muay thai, these are fighting arts used for competition. Ninjutsu is a conept that is clearly far beyond your comprehension.

    I love cornballas who talk reckless on posts. But wouldn't step face to face with this man nor would step foot in Brooklyn where his masjid is located

      Why would anyone feel the need to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to see exactly what they can see on his video. The fact you're advising people to go to his place of work too "test" his skills is bloody stupid, and the fact that you clearly worship this man is even more ridiculous. These skills are average, at best. you clearly have little or no experience with combative's and tbh youre a bit of a hypocrite. Thats all good day

    1-He is having a lot of trouble drawing the knife.
    2-We he spins he is also blinding himself to the possibility of the opponent producing a weapon.
    3-The sensei looks for his knife each time he goes to pull it, showing his lack of experience with this particular carry method and pulling a knife from concealment.

  • @PhilMihaly
    @PhilMihaly 11 лет назад

    you're actually giving them a visual disadvantage. You don't see them for a split second, but within that split second is when you pull out your knife. Within that split second, the most he'll do is maybe tro to punch or kick or move closer, he wasn't EXPECTING the turn so he's not going to do anythign to take advantage of the half second of you having your back turned.
    I dont like to generalize, but you seem like the kind of meathead who would get taken by surprise easily.

    Ninjutsu isn't about fighting, it's about winning the confrontation before it happens. The person whose trying to grab you doesn't know you want to fight, when you turn they think you're trying to get away. THEY DONT EVEN REALIZE YOU HAVE A KNIFE
    This isn't UFC, you're not staring eachother down before the fight happens. Knockouts rarely happen in real fights. You're focusing too much on the technical aspect and not enough on the psychological aspect. All of these techniques are SITUATIONAL.

    I have seen better moves and this is not one of them. For one he is moving too far away from the attacker even if this was Aiki Do you would move in closer to the opponent not away . Like Bruce Lee said make everything direct and to the point. This make your moves faster.

  • @bunnieseatliverspots

    WOW! let me turn my back to my opponent. If he was coming at you with a knife, you would have been stabbed in the back. if he can lay a hand on your back, he can put a knife into it too. You're next move is useless after that.

    • @GodsAssassin
      @GodsAssassin 7 лет назад

      Eric Arroyo this is not a technique of a person was coming at you with a knife I'm sure he's not that dumb to turn his back. There's different techniques against an armed opponent.

      @chrissmith-kh7qx 7 лет назад

      what you just said is 50/50. there are different techniques against an armed opponent. BUT YOU NEVER GIVE YOUR BACK!!!!!!! NEVER. ESPECIALLY SINCE HE HAD A FULL LIST OF OTHER OPTIONS. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE YOUR BACK.... LIKE FUCKING EVER....
