Thanks for this recommendation! I love the ghost switches. I did a spring swap to 30g springs and it feels amazing. They are so smooth and sound better than the reds. I'm putting them in my s16 and m16.
There's a number of these over on AliExpress; just search for "hitbox replacement caps" or "Punk Workshop caps". I used RetroGamingStore and FightingBox Store in the past.
Which if any would be closest feeling wise as sanwa buttons. I bought the haute42 acrylic don’t like the stock button push to hard. Thanks for any suggestions
@@selimsaim OK. I don't think any of the Lofrees (or Kailh) will replicate the Sanwa feel by themselves; putting some lighter springs in to get it down to the 30-35gf range might get a little bit there.
Hey zev, are these still the only other alternatives for the Haute T16's that you know of (Other than the V2 browns and blues)? Really looking for something on the ligther side, like an equivalent of kailh choc pro reds or light blues. Great and detailed review though!
H42/Cosmox is putting out some new switches (one seems to be very Ghost-like), so watch for those. There's also the option to replace the springs with something lighter, though that takes some work.
@@Zevaeros i asked the service team if they will sell me 8 switches each, because 90 switches are way to much and expensive if you just want to swap them in on a arcade controller
@@Zevaeros so their support just got back to me. And they wont do smaller numbers per pack. So i am definitely interested in a pack of 10 switches each of the ghosts, wizard and phantom if you have any left ;)

Where did you get the replacement springs from ?. I've been looking for them but they are mostly 18 or 22mm springs 😢

Just to sanity check: which Haute42 model did you get? The T, S, and M are compatible with these while the Mini, Mini Board, and G are not.

G16 doesn't use low profile switches so it probably won't work

That comes pre-installed on the units that have it.
