Got the same regulator and magazine on my Prophet Compact Fatboy and they both work great as does the gun it self as well. Might have to get a MK II for slugs. 🥰😀 Great video as usual! 👍
When you hit the magazine at 8:23, one of the pellets is seated differently (probably the one that holds the spring tension). Does that one pellet have a different poi than the rest? I still haven't seen a better magazine design than what is on the Taipan Veteran (Weihrauch HW100 has the same design I believe). It's proven so easy to live with along with the anti-double load feature. I appreciate you demonstrate loading of the magazine. You said no creep, does it mean they fixed the regular creep on first shot of version 1? I suggest you make the fill caps (fill port nipples) captive so you don't lose them. Not sure anyone have a good design of foster port with a captive cap. Proprietary fill adapters is a pain in the butt. It's also usually a failure point (as that o-ring gets regular dynamic movement and you have to great those too). If the moderator would fit on a small barrel with a long bottle then that would be an interesting choice. Looks like really interesting gun. Particular the single adjustment. It's has too much power at minimal level for me (shooting Predator GTO .22) but you already mentioned that there was a way to address that. I too thought the documentation you shared was clear & useful. What did you mean at 15:54 that you have limit speed to 850 to 950 fps for pellets? I thought pellet instability at high speed was pellet design issue? Or do you mean that you have to limit slugs to sub-950 fps?
Yes, correct, that pellet holds the spring. There is not change to POI as the pellet is not damaged. RTI had made sure the spring retaining pin does not damage the pellets.
Yes, the regulator work without noticeable creep. First shot is the same velocity as others. I believe that the reg. comes with nipple covers that are attached via ribber string...
Daniele Tartaglia has a you tube video entitled Top 15 best solutions with heat shrink tube. The very first solution shows the process for making a fill cap and tether from a piece of 1/2 ' wide heat shrink tubing. I've made black fill caps for my Origin and my Prophet using this method. They adopt the form of the male foster fitting and snap on and off nicely.
Merci Gregor! What upgrade path would you advise to a Prophet I owner ? Clearly the new barrel is interesting to shoot slugs, however I think that I can continue to live with the Prophet 1's body & regulator since they work as a clockwork, my pellet speed is usually always in the same m/s. The extended rail would be a nice addition too.
It sounds like your P1 works flawlessly and that you are happy with it. I don't see the reason to update it at all... The only reason why you might want to update is maybe for slugs, or for higher power... if you need those to get to higher level... Gregor, excellent video my friend! I'm excited to see RTI Arms making huge advancements to the Prophet ll. Do you have a release date for the U.S. market? Thanks and take good care of yourself, GOD Bless!!!
Great video! Quick question? I have the Prophet 1 and noticed when I shoot it I get a puff of air coming somewhere around the trigger adjustment screws. Is that normal? It’s not the o-ring on the probe because that looks good. Thx!
I guess I find it odd that one of my Prophets doesn’t puff air out and one does. Is there a way to move air to go the other way since I am a left handed shooter? Thx!
When you say valve , which valve are we talking about ? The only thing i would be looking at as an improvement for my prophet is a lighter level and a lighter trigger .
The cocking is slightly lighter but not extremely light. This is because the hammer is now much lighter and this results in no bounce. There will be much more details about this in next videos. Trigger is the same as on P1 but not sure if you have this trigger as this one is adjustable to ridiculous light pulls... Maybe you just need to adjust yours?
@@gregorkamensek3923 I can adjust mine quite light , but usually end up having to tighten it up a little if it wont cock properly . It's still an awesome gun , I am just being fussy , but the trigger is way behind my FTP900 . To be honest I think I need someone with experience to see how much my trigger can be adjusted . I am not really bothered about the first stage , just a light second stage .
I can be but it is not a simple replacement of the valve and you can run into issues. You would need to replace the valve, the connecting hose that connects the front and the body, the hammer, the hammer spring and the valve spring. It is also trick to get the proper seal of the valve... This is why RTI does not offer this valve as an upgrade part...
@@gregorkamensek3923 thanks for the explanation. Almost got myself into trouble. I'm mainly shooting slugs and After watching the videos of prophet 2 and priest 2. I can't really see major differences between the two. May be you could enlighten me?

I would hate it if I had to pik just one... They are quite different guns so it depends on what is most important for you. Regarding power, Prophet II can come quite close to Huben though... If you have to choose, it comes down to what features are most important for you (semi-auto? interchangeable caliber? removable magazine?,...)
@@Supracrm I can completely understand. I was in that position in the past as well. You just have to weight the pros and cons for yourself. Most I can do is provide those pros/cons in a form of a video... :)
Great news, looking forward to the in depth version as well! They sure took their sweet time to come up with that bipod extender. Just 2 weeks ago i made my own 😆 Maybe you can also suggest that RTI develops a more adjustable butt stock with a rubber piece.
Yeah... I know. It seems that Prophet and priest will still have only aluminum, but there will be rubber adjustable but plate for the new gun coming next year...
Yes, it is free floating, but if you screw the spring too much in, it is not free floating anymore (you do not need to though in order to open the valve). It is relatively quiet especially now that the hammer is much lighter due to the pressure assisted valve.
@@gregorkamensek3923 I'm so frustrated with how loud the hammers are especially on the eastern european bullpups.Im specifically talking about high power setups.I shoot from my room window using a silencer. The Vulcan has such a ringing twang in the ear and the edgun has a heavy metallic ping. The FX wildcat uses a free floating hammer but still has a hollow ping because of the hollow hammer design I think as I have fitted a PEEK cap on the face of the hammer but It still does not make much difference.Amazingly, my P15 with LW barrel is amazing when it comes to silence.Thats true for my Huben too.
@@Ayjay12345 I don't have any comparison for you, but I would say that if you supress the Prophet, the gun is very quiet from the shooter perspective... There is however a chance that for some squeaks from the one way valve but you can easily remove it...

Good video, thanks. To be honest I personally think many RTI owners have been guinea pigs, testing, shooting only to find out later that further development has been made. More expense. In less than 10 months I am now on for my 4 regulator. Even the latest one, 6mm hex. Try using it in cooler temperatures. 60 bar creep overnight. Anything lower than 15c I have problems. I once had the reg rise to 220 bar. Not safe. I've just returned to using a fixed bar regulator. At least I know what is going to happen. Apologies for the moan, I'm just a frustrated RTI owner, new compact. Purchased last year.
Same boat , i was looking at a ninjaflex reg , trouble is im in the UK so have to be sub12ft , with the 22 transfer port i get around 11.5ft lbs with the fixed reg which is pretty good , when i put the 177 barrel in its around 8ft/lbs , so i have to put the adjustable reg on and remove the transfer port screw , even if i wait a minute between shots it can vary 5 ft/lbs . Very hard to keep it legal with such a poor regulator . I wish RTI would make a uk legal 177 transfer port screw . They did send me some undrilled blanks but I don't have a lathe in my tool box.
@@gregorkamensek3923 the regulator was set to 90 bar, over a few days it rose to 220 bar. Nothing was touched. Now overnight it rises by 60 bar. Definitely not safe to use. Fortunately a buddy gave me a RTI fixed regulator. This will have to do for now. Hopefully I will find a solution or alternative regulator.
@@pdevine999 Paul, I also received the transfer port inserts. Using a 2.5mm hole and a regulator pressure of just over 90. I had a decent sub 12 ft lb in .177. The inserts/grub screws are easy to drill and polish.
@@garymurray5361 RTI informed me of some extreme issues like this in the past, they said that is usually cause be particles getting between the regulator seal bed and the stem that presses against that seal. Now they have added a filter in front of the regulator to prevent and particles getting in the regulator.
I assume you mean the regulator. On non-adjustable standard version it is about 125 bar I believe, but it depends on the caliber, so .177 will have lower, .30 will have higher pressure...
@@antoniogauna9521 The older versions had 125 bar, newer had lower pressure... On the version 2, you need only about 80 bars to get about 50 joules of energy in .22
@@gregorkamensek3923 why no companies making 1000mm? I bet with a stiff barrel it would work really really well, I know it’s hella long but who cares a Beretta is like 48in any ways it would kinda be like The Beretta 50cal of airguns lol(kinda not really)
@@gregmcb5305 Making barrel longer has bigger effect on larger calibers than smaller. This is due to the fact that air alone being pushed through the barrel has resistance and the smaller the hole the bigger the resistance. I am not saying that you would not gain anything, you probably would but the gain would not the that significant... It could be done, but would not make sense... @@gregorkamensek3923 OK entiendo en calibre 22 seria .218 también 33 gr. Y 950 fps. ? Tengo los slug zan 33 gr .217 me pueden servir también ? o agrupan mejor los .218 que me dice usted a 950 fps.
I am glad that you have influenced the construction of internal ballistics, I would even more like you to make a similar balanced valve that the Altaros M24 has.
Details about this valve can be found on the GTA forum entitled "Altaros M24 Airgun .22 Prototype 60 FPE!" (start reading from page 13)
I wish you success in your work!

Name the new rifle competition ?
RTI Messiah or perhaps RTI Cardinal, great review as usual Gregor.
That is a good idea, I will propose it to RTI :)

I want that barrel for my prophet I! It's on my wish list!
Hi Gregor, can you please do accuracy test for slugs ( javelin, hn and jsb 26 gr) with P1 using the new slug barrel and publish the settings( hammer spring tension and reg pressure). These slugs are readily available for me in RSA.
Only the settings, the vedeo will be a bonus. I prefer shooting fast. Currently shooting redesigned @314m/s
I have some slugs coming in to test... So there should be a video in the future.
Any time frame on part 2? Love your reviews..
Still waiting for the barrels. Have no idea when they will be ready...
Hi Gregor, can you please indicate the duration in weeks when the new barrel will start shipping. I have pre-ordered one for the P1. Tx
This is a question for RTI.
Thanks :)
Gregor, excellent video my friend! I'm excited to see RTI Arms making huge advancements to the Prophet ll. Do you have a release date for the U.S. market? Thanks and take good care of yourself, GOD Bless!!!
Thanks. All info I got is "soon" ...
@@gregorkamensek3923 Thanks again for your very good information...
Great video! Quick question? I have the Prophet 1 and noticed when I shoot it I get a puff of air coming somewhere around the trigger adjustment screws. Is that normal? It’s not the o-ring on the probe because that looks good. Thx!
It s normal.this is ventilation hole
Normal
I guess I find it odd that one of my Prophets doesn’t puff air out and one does. Is there a way to move air to go the other way since I am a left handed shooter? Thx!
Hope there is a way to upgrade old prophets to prophet 2.
Great video. Is it possible to instal the assisted valve on rti priest 2?
I can be but it is not a simple replacement of the valve and you can run into issues. You would need to replace the valve, the connecting hose that connects the front and the body, the hammer, the hammer spring and the valve spring. It is also trick to get the proper seal of the valve... This is why RTI does not offer this valve as an upgrade part...
@@gregorkamensek3923 thanks for the explanation. Almost got myself into trouble.

Hi Gregor,
Hope you are keeping well?Any sign of the follow up videos on this?

Min 45 joules? ( In 22 )
Not a concern for most, but not low enough for in barn pesting.
There are way to reduce power further... no worries... I will give this info when I make disassembly video.

Gregor I tore the o ring on the regulator. Would you happen to know the size of the o ring? It's on the end that screws into the body of the rifle. Thank You.....
It is 13x2mm. You can also find all information here: www.rtiarms.eu/files/
Hi Gregor! Will these LW barrels have polygonal rifling?
I just ordered one but can still change the caliber if I do it soon. Is the new barrel offered in the 17 and 22 better than the Walter ? I ordered the 30 cal but might change to a 25.
Thanks for the help
All barrels are made by LW. .22 and .25 are customer barrels made specially for RTI.
@@gregorkamensek3923 thank you. Which do you find more accurate ?
@@brocwavra8813 I like the new custom .22 and .25 barrels because they are amazing with pellets and are not pellet picky and also shoot slugs better than standard barrels. But you should chose based on your needs / desires...
@@gregorkamensek3923 thanks. I changed my order to 25. Thanks for the help
Hi,is this small bottle is new designed for compact?i have prophet compact performance and carbon bottle it came in box was very bad made bottle,i fink i need by new, from box bottle do not look safe ,do new barrels fit older prophet compact? By the way i have .25 cal model, and reg is creeping by 20bars easy
Hi. I don't know if the changed the bottle of the compact as I returned the one I had for the first video. New barrels do fit but make sure you get the 500mm for Compact. For the regulator as well as the bottle, I suggest you contact your retailer or RTI directly.
brilliant gregor,,,,thanks
When you say the rifling is much more shallow, are you referring to a Polygonal style? What is the twist rate on the .22 and .25?
I will reveal all this when I have the serial production barrels...
Which would you pick between the Hubern and this? Hubern has more power but worries me about going wrong
I would hate it if I had to pik just one... They are quite different guns so it depends on what is most important for you. Regarding power, Prophet II can come quite close to Huben though... If you have to choose, it comes down to what features are most important for you (semi-auto? interchangeable caliber? removable magazine?,...)
@@gregorkamensek3923 Thank you...I can only afford one but just can't decide!!!!!!
Very nice uk sub 12 airgunner.
Hi Gregor.Does it use a free floating hammer and how loud is the impact of the hammer on the valve during the shot?
@@gregorkamensek3923 So I take it that a PEEK cap on the hammer face should make it ultra quite. Is the hammer a conventional design?
@@Ayjay12345 If by conventional you mean that it is the same design as before, then yes... It has holes in it do make it lighter... PEEK should solve te whatever ping that may be present and it should last quite a while since this valve is very easy to open...
Do they remove the ability of using the aribottle with a external line
Yes, that option is not available anymore.
@@gregorkamensek3923 to sad 😢 I really like that option
Thanks for the video
Can I use my old prophet barrels and pellet probs 🤔
Yes. No change was made to pellet probes. You can also use old barrels...
@@gregorkamensek3923 thanks
I am sorry to hear about the problem with the reg you had... But yes, the reg is not designed to be used over 180 bars...
Now they have added a filter in front of the regulator to prevent and particles getting in the regulator.
hi there good eve
just want to ask how many PSI OUTPUT is thE PRIEST 1
I assume you mean the regulator. On non-adjustable standard version it is about 125 bar I believe, but it depends on the caliber, so .177 will have lower, .30 will have higher pressure...
@@gregorkamensek3923 good eve greg its a .22 caliber version
@@antoniogauna9521 The older versions had 125 bar, newer had lower pressure... On the version 2, you need only about 80 bars to get about 50 joules of energy in .22
I would love to see a extra long barrel Version of this in .357! Like maybe 1000mm
.35 cal will probably be only on the new gun with 700 mm barrel...
Also, the time the slug is in the barrel is longer in that case and the the gun would be even more "hold through" sensitive...
@@gregorkamensek3923 oh that’s a supper good point. I wonder how big of a difference it could make with something like a .357-.5cal with maybe heavier then normal slugs. Although kind of unrelated but I love the look of this thing!
Cool 👍
When would they be available?

hi greg... want to ask how can i order the regulator with adjustable ? 2 gauges?

I mean the first generation is said to be precise enough, how better can it be? i wanted to buy the first generation but now that the new one is out i will buy the 2nd generation , and secondly could you help me i would like to know how many shots you can make with 7.5 joules and 16 joules with one filling, with the prophet 1 and with the prophet 2 how big is the difference can you or someone tell me please?
normally i wanted to buy the fx impact 3 just because it can do over 670 shots with a charge of 16 joules but the fx go after 3000 shots
o rings are broken and therefore it's not worth the money if something like that happens that's why I changed my mind, the daystate delta wolf also has over 600 shots but I have see the
rti prophet and would like to have this, but get no information regarding the shots, in youtoube there is a video of arizonaguns the rti prophet 1 cal. 177 in 24 joules = 225 shots, but i want to know how much does it with 7.5 joules and 16 joules , I would be very interested and especially the new one
generation 2 i hope you can help me or if someone knows please , and is the new generation walther lother barrel ?
thank you for help

You can see the data in the leaflet I attached in the video. CF bottle is 500cc. In terms of accuracy, wait for the video, it is not an easy comparison, it depends on pellets, slugs, power,... I am not answering how many shot you get at 7,5 or 16 J, all I will say is - a lot :)
