As odd as it sounds...Midol and Pamprin work wonders on serious back aches as well...maybe it will do you some good too. 7 sisters can’t be wrong, and their meds have helped me over the years just fine. I’m not sure if you check older videos but here goes. I wish you would do more setup and tuning on the priest. I learn what I’m doing right or wrong that way. Your videos are very helpful to somebody like me. I’ve up mine to Profit like with reg, plenum and side lever. Only thing I haven’t done is the larger transfer port. Hi my friend! I'm working on something else I did to the gun that I think took the accuracy to a next level. Stay tuned for the next video coming soon. Bud, Maverick looks a very interesting gun. That will be my first FX gun, I'm waiting for inventory, the gun is out of stock everywhere. I'll get sniper in .22 caliber. I think for hunting is the gun I was waiting for. A wildcat on steroids with a bottle and I can add bipod, for me at least looks like a great deal. Impact is in another level, for competition is great but for my hunting I need a reliable gun and I'm not confident on the impact yet, I might be wrong, remember as I said, I haven't owned an FX gun yet.
After I finish the video I did an accuracy test and it's doing great, I want to test now other hunting pellets I have and also again the slugs, just for curiosity, I'm not going to shoot slugs at this speed, but if they are grouping up to 50 yards, maybe some iguanas will eat slugs. For spirals I need to film and see the shot in slow motion, hopefully it's getting better!
Now that you got it figured out, and tuned in, I hope it shoots good. Also I hope you get out hunting soon ,I really miss the head shots. If they don't offer a different spring you can always cut 1 to 2 coils off the stock spring, if it doesn't work at least you tried, and can always buy another stock spring.

Hi, I heard some twang from the spring hammer. Without the weight the spring has some twang. Maybe must change the screw and make one in 3D printer with a spring guide. Thanks and muy buen trabajo! Un saludo.

Oh yes, the weight is just a way to increase the mass and having a bigger impact on the valve, usually you add weight if your spring is not enough to give you maximum speed compressing the spring all the way. Think about adding weight on the difference of being hit on your car by a bicycle (spring with no weight) or being hit by an SUV, (the weight) when both are traveling at the same speed, 10mph (length of travel, but one with weight and one without it). The SUV will transfer more force after impact and you will feel more inside your car. Hopefully you will never be impacted by an SUV my friend! Take care buddy!
Great tune, its nice when you can go lower on the reg and save air. You can probably stay lower on the reg for your high tune as well. So, how many shots do you get per fill using the low tune????
Yes I think I don't need to go now to 150bar, with the power plenum, probably maximum 130bars and with the spring/weight combination I should be able to find a very efficient system.

enhorabuena por el video desde España, sigo todas tus publicaciones y con mi humilde conocimiento de ingles digamos que entiendo el 90% jajajaja. yo tengo una priest v2 5.5 con el cañon LW poligonal y con los JSB rediseñados es un bisturi a larga distancia, tambien le puse la cantonera para regular la tension del muelle del martillo pero no consegui el muelle para cambiarlo, aqui en España los repuestos tardan mucho, nos tienen desabastecidos, por eso te pregunto, a parte de quitar la guia del muelle, el nuevo muelle es mas o menos fuerte? y tiene el mismo largo? espero puedas ayudarme, pues aqui podria comprar varios muelles distintos y probar, muchas gracias y un abrazo desde España
La idea es que si bajas la presión del regulator mas de 125 bars eo muelle que viene tiene mucha tension, hay que probar con otro muelle que de menos energía al comprimirlo. Lo que quite no es una guia sino un peso, que hace que el golpe sea aun mas fuerte, al quitarle el peso aun con el mismo muelle logre que el martillo no golpeara tan duro y me diera un rango de tuning. ok gracias por contestar, muy agradecido, ahora tengo el regulador a 150bar y da con los rediseñados 270m/s, esto son unos 60j, con el cañon LW los rediseñados funcionan mejor a partir de 250m/s, mucho mejor que con los slugs, quitare el peso y provare con varios muelles, ya te contare mi experiencia, muchas gracias y un fuerte abrazo

when you do a trigger always put the pins in a drill and polish to a mirror with 2000 grit paper , polish all surfaces that rub together to a mirror , polish sear and notch surfaces with a hard Arkansas slip stone . then carefully file down sear notch just a stroke or 2 at a time . It is a long boring take apart, file and put it back together , try it , then repeat Sunday morning ' but so worth When it breaks like glass , then put a lighter spring in it . Springs are springs , there is the spring you need some were on the net . If you have any over travel at all . drill and tap the guard for an over travel screw . That over travel screw makes a huge difference , .

Great video. I just upgraded mine with the adjustable regulator and the extended stock. I seem to have the same problem when setting the regulator lower then 140 bar. Mine was a basis model when bought. Does that mean it also has a weight that has to be removed? Thanks

Orion can I ask you something 30 fps less from max power for gain efficency but if you have a shorter barrel like 40 cm this need more like 45/50 fps instead of 30 fps because of shorter barrel or always 30 fps ?
I don't take any number as an absolute, the idea is to move away a bit from the max and find the point of maximum efficiency you can go down 30 then test if reducing more your gun is happy
I’m sure there’s a lot of mods out there (changing the spring ) Just a thought : if you needed a lower power pcp rifle , wouldn’t it be better to get a NEW rifle , one that is not as strong .

Great stuff "Ori" thanks for all the info, have a priest 2 and wanted to know how the power "P" would help and if it is worth getting. I still would like to see how going the other way "increasing speed" with lower reg would work. Have an Ali Express fixed regulator at 150 bar as my original RTI reg was a problem from day one and never got help with it. I wanted to shoot JSB 25.39 at current speed with lower reg pressure and still not sure if the power "P" would help me with that
Hi Carl! I can answer any question you might have, just ask me. I think the plenum makes a lot of sense because the range of pressures/speed increases and you have more option. You said you wan to shoot the JSB 25.4 at current speed but with lower reg pressure, how are you going to lower the regulator pressure if your regulator cannot be adjusted? I did something similar to that. If you see on part one, I started similar with your setup, I had a regulator set at 150 bars and the gun was shooting at 900fps those JSBs, after changing the regulator and the plenum, you can see an increase on the speed on those shots I took on part one, I saw speeds of 915fps, remember that was just changing the parts and no tune done, maybe if I move the hammer spring tension I would have seen faster speed, but I was interested in going fast but going efficient. So If you want to keep the speed at lower regulator pressure you will need the regulator too right? If you do that you will increase efficiency a lot, and that's what I was after. @@carllarkylark ohhh you have the spring I need lol. Yes is you change the regulator with something else will work. But Carl, and this is my oppinion, if I will buy something, I'll get the new regulator before the power plenum, the new regulator is $140 I think, the plenum can be added later, and with the new regulator you can go up and down.... Well you won't be able to go up too much because at some point you will need the weight. That's why I think a kit should be offered. But anyway if I were you, I'll get the regulator over the plenum anytime
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter I Have almost all... the hammer weight, the extended butt plate, both High and low power spring, the fixed 150 bar reg and 125 bar reg, no plenum. I hade got the original adjustable reg but it never worked. Not going to try another adjustable reg for a while. So I just thought that I could achieve same pellet speed with 125 reg and plenum. Getting the plenum would be easy if it would maintain pellet speed as there is really not much to go wrong on the plenum
@Carl, I see, sorry I understand now, yes if you use the 125 bar regulator and the power plenum your speed should be around the same, need to test but yes that should work, I understand now.

you don't even get 12ftlb? Do you live in the US or in the UK? Because I know in the UK are limitations with the power.... but under 12ftlb is something I was not expecting in a gun sold in the US. For example it's hard to me to get less than 30fpe with my gun.... What caliber are you using?
@@kennyheath2147 maybe that's what you get, remember you bought a sub 12 fpe, I don't know much about those to be honest but I think the gun was designed so you can't pass that..
Regulator is low because I have the plenum, without the plenum I won't be able to set the regulator that low. The reason is that I now have a huge range for setting the power. I can go low or high. When I'm back to the HOA I'll tune for high power. Now I'm low because I'm shooting just at home. Hope that makes sense now...I think I explained that on the video

New RTI external Regulators sucks Man, They needs a mod! My own was moded by one guy here in Poland and now works perfect! Speed going down. So You need to be fast or go for old reg which is very good. Now i have max 1-2 m/s in v0. Anyway good luck and waiting for accuracy test.

Can only say few my friends with prophet here in Poland with same regulator problems, but yea old ones works perfect.

I'm curious as to an accuracy test now , are you still getting the spiralling from the pellet? And will the pellets be accurate at the slower speeds?

when you do a trigger always put the pins in a drill and polish to a mirror with 2000 grit paper , polish all surfaces that rub together to a mirror , polish sear and notch surfaces with a hard Arkansas slip stone . then carefully file down sear notch just a stroke or 2 at a time . It is a long boring take apart, file and put it back together , try it , then repeat Sunday morning ' but so worth When it breaks like glass , then put a lighter spring in it . Springs are springs , there is the spring you need some were on the net . If you have any over travel at all . drill and tap the guard for an over travel screw . That over travel screw makes a huge difference , .

I just upgraded mine with the adjustable regulator and the extended stock. I seem to have the same problem when setting the regulator lower then 140 bar.
Mine was a basis model when bought. Does that mean it also has a weight that has to be removed?

Orion can I ask you something 30 fps less from max power for gain efficency but if you have a shorter barrel like 40 cm this need more like 45/50 fps instead of 30 fps because of shorter barrel or always 30 fps ?
I don't take any number as an absolute, the idea is to move away a bit from the max and find the point of maximum efficiency you can go down 30 then test if reducing more your gun is happy

you can use it as a guide, not all guns are the same, depending on the valve, plenum, spring...

it has a screw on the back below the one I used to adjust the hammer spring tension, just lose that screw and the gun will degas

Great stuff "Ori" thanks for all the info, have a priest 2 and wanted to know how the power "P" would help and if it is worth getting. I still would like to see how going the other way "increasing speed" with lower reg would work. Have an Ali Express fixed regulator at 150 bar as my original RTI reg was a problem from day one and never got help with it. I wanted to shoot JSB 25.39 at current speed with lower reg pressure and still not sure if the power "P" would help me with that
Hi Carl! I can answer any question you might have, just ask me. I think the plenum makes a lot of sense because the range of pressures/speed increases and you have more option. You said you wan to shoot the JSB 25.4 at current speed but with lower reg pressure, how are you going to lower the regulator pressure if your regulator cannot be adjusted?
I did something similar to that. If you see on part one, I started similar with your setup, I had a regulator set at 150 bars and the gun was shooting at 900fps those JSBs, after changing the regulator and the plenum, you can see an increase on the speed on those shots I took on part one, I saw speeds of 915fps, remember that was just changing the parts and no tune done, maybe if I move the hammer spring tension I would have seen faster speed, but I was interested in going fast but going efficient. So If you want to keep the speed at lower regulator pressure you will need the regulator too right? If you do that you will increase efficiency a lot, and that's what I was after.

@@carllarkylark ohhh you have the spring I need lol. Yes is you change the regulator with something else will work. But Carl, and this is my oppinion, if I will buy something, I'll get the new regulator before the power plenum, the new regulator is $140 I think, the plenum can be added later, and with the new regulator you can go up and down.... Well you won't be able to go up too much because at some point you will need the weight. That's why I think a kit should be offered. But anyway if I were you, I'll get the regulator over the plenum anytime
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter I Have almost all... the hammer weight, the extended butt plate, both High and low power spring, the fixed 150 bar reg and 125 bar reg, no plenum. I hade got the original adjustable reg but it never worked. Not going to try another adjustable reg for a while. So I just thought that I could achieve same pellet speed with 125 reg and plenum. Getting the plenum would be easy if it would maintain pellet speed as there is really not much to go wrong on the plenum
@Carl, I see, sorry I understand now, yes if you use the 125 bar regulator and the power plenum your speed should be around the same, need to test but yes that should work, I understand now.

my prophet is well underpowered .I haven't got external reg adjuster so how do I turn power up to get 12ftlb thanks
you don't even get 12ftlb? Do you live in the US or in the UK? Because I know in the UK are limitations with the power.... but under 12ftlb is something I was not expecting in a gun sold in the US. For example it's hard to me to get less than 30fpe with my gun.... What caliber are you using?

Don't understand... why buy the hi power model, then want to shoot it low power ?
Regulator is low because I have the plenum, without the plenum I won't be able to set the regulator that low. The reason is that I now have a huge range for setting the power. I can go low or high. When I'm back to the HOA I'll tune for high power. Now I'm low because I'm shooting just at home. Hope that makes sense now...I think I explained that on the video

New RTI external Regulators sucks Man, They needs a mod! My own was moded by one guy here in Poland and now works perfect! Check my old videos with orginal one. ruclips.net/video/FjYgeLmMZrs/видео.html First feq shots after reffiling sucks with speed, when You wait even 2minutest without shooting its happend again. Speed going down. So You need to be fast or go for old reg which is very good.
Now i have max 1-2 m/s in v0. Anyway good luck and waiting for accuracy test.

Can only say few my friends with prophet here in Poland with same regulator problems, but yea old ones works perfect.
