  • 🇪🇬 Egyptian Rice Pudding Recipe
    INGREDIENTS:
    ✔️ 1 cup long grain rice
    ✔️ 4 cups water
    ✔️ 3 1/2 cups milk
    ✔️ 1/8 cup sugar
    ✔️ 2 vanilla powder packs
    ✔️ 1 tsp corn starch ‪@KrogerCo‬
    ✔️ sea salt (just a pinch)
    ✔️ golden raisins
    ✔️ shredded coconut
    ✔️ raw honey
    ✔️ cinnamon powder
    COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
    STEP 1: Add one cup rice and four cups water to a pot. Bring to a boil then immediately turn the heat to low. Let it cook on low heat for one hour.
    STEP 2: Use a spatula to whip the rice around. It will become mushy; that is the goal.
    STEP 3: Add three cups milk to the rice and mix it. In a separate cup, add one teaspoon corn starch to one half cup milk. Mix it well and ensure the corn starch does not clump up. Pour it into the pot.
    STEP 4: Add vanilla powder, a pinch of sea salt, and mix all the ingredients well. Continue to cook over low heat. Bring the milk to a near boil and turn off the heat. Transfer the rice pudding to serving cups/dishes.
    STEP 5: Top it off with golden raisins, shredded coconut, raw honey, and ground cinnamon! Let it cool before serving.
