Vaccine Beats 4/24/21

I did a celebratory drum session on Saturday just after my second Moderna dose and I was somewhat convinced I had sweated all the vaccine out. Felt great all day. But Sunday I was tired as fuck, like walking through sludge all day with our 4 year old running circles around me. After our little rascal passed I fell into a sweaty fever sleep at 9pm . Woke at 11:30pm feeling good, then slept peacefully through the night . Today, Monday, I feel great. A small price to pay to enter the new world. get vaccinated if you are able .
Song notes: This is a rough “song” idea I came up with at the last minute while playing friday that I jumped into on Saturday. I’m not dealing with finished products here. still recording to tape and hand syncing to digital video which is ridiculous so you might see some sync-slides or hear some mini sound-time-skips , there’s a couple hundred audio splices in this short piece hahaha. I think it adds a bonus unsettling element to it all, but I’m about to upgrade this system. Maybe, just a little

Right now I’m recording to tape and syncing to digital video , which with such frantic music syncing is a ridiculous task. The tape speed is so imprecise. but I just got a mini mixer that goes right into the phone, should be able to run through the analog 4track into the mixer , to eliminate the three hours of splicing the sound to fit the video
