I would die to go on a trip with these guys. I currently house cuban green anole, carolina green anole, bark anole, cuban brown, crested, and knight anoles!
@@LukeMcGuireoides Yessir I stay in close contact with him on social medias. Crazy collection and he breeds some of the rarest anoles in the United States!
@@LukeMcGuireoides Thanks for the sub. Really going to take content more serious this year. The reptile community is amazing. Looking forward to traveling more, getting my whole basement redone, and meeting new like minds!
But what about here in Florida where we have both the invasive Bahaman Anoles and the native green anoles? As far as my understanding is, the Bahaman anoles have decimated most of the indigenous population of green anoles, and I have definitely seen males from both species fight each other. If you go farther up north there are more green ones because I believe they are more cold tolerant. I’m in mid state FL and it is a rarity to see a green anole here, and old timers tell me that there used to be tons of them.
To the people who said changing declaration color for a minute was cruel, go cry to your mom, this is a research channel, they didn't do anything wrong.
You can't just assume they see in color. They might but they could also just see a different shade. There could be so many things. I don't know enough though I'm sure a quick Google search will tell you the truth
If they only fight with their own specie, then why would the one anole that had its dewlap colored to match another specie still fight with that different anole specie? I would think with that experiment, it cancels out the theory that anoles only fight with their own specie.
3:58 Did they just snatched my little dude from his twig 😁
Great video and very interesting.
More of this please!
3:58 snatched
They rolled the egg at 6:56 possibly killing the egg
They are pretty good at catching them with their slip knot tool. I used to make my own out of tall green grasses.
Brilliant series! I looove it

Jacob Taylor you could assume that with anything or anyone ig ?
The definition of species is not this simple. Plenty of separate species can hybridize and produce fertile young
Speciation is not proven. In these beautiful creatures, we find the beauty of God.
I have one of your products

K Y because they were tricked into believing that they were of the same species. Did you even watch the video?
@VALEREEN DEJESUS a little rude and unnecessary man
There are no new species. Just permutations of things that have existed.
