I have a fixed asset management software and we have included bar code labels in it too. But we are looking for device to do physical stock take and update status reports?
I use one of these everyday and the are very slow. 1gb of ram.
Current phones now have 6-12 gb of ram. I wonder how these even reach the market.
For the love of everything that is good please stay away and don't purchase these devices. They are very slow, they lag, they glitch, they lose connection, they restart randomly. It's hardware from 7 years ago and it's long overdue for a complete upgrade from scratch. I have to work with these and I can't tell you how many problems this device has only because it's so many. You'd actually be better off buying an actual 2013 smartphone than using these.

Sometimes the cellphone will end the call so it can turn on the contacts app, fuck me...i can’t even describe my anger and how annoying this device is

I work for a company that gives us these scanners..and they're a piece of crap..they don't scan fast enough..you have to move the scanner back and forth towards the barcode in order for it to scan...just a pain in the ass to use!

Mike Garados he’s got a point, at work I have to deal with this piece of shit almost everytime... how would you feel when your phone turned the app by it’s own and said “the app stopped running” or when the half of the screen is fine and the other half White?

They are a POS!!! Battery time is shitty!! The more often you use it the faster it drains...that is why they need a battery charger in the vehicle to keep it docked. Screen is so sensitive to the rain drops if you wipe the screen it will slide you over to the next screen. Scanner sucks ass!!
