Two on the XG girls (Cocona and Maya) have a rap track they go wrote and performed for a hat show. I don’t remember what dance crew danced to it, but the song was XG

Yay... another Choreographer getting hooked on XG! Great analysis. There are a lot of dancers and choreographers that have been really impressed with XG's level of talent. A lot of their choreo is Kiel Tutin and/or Sienna Lalau if you are familiar. I think you will be most impressed with Shooting Star, they have a fixed dance practice choreo where you can really dive in.

Their studio choom version might be better to watch💯 I feel like you see more because it’s not a super strong light reflecting and the camera angles are smoother I think

thank you for the XG puppet show analysis!! now we need the deep dive!!! if you need a guide just let me know 😆 this is their latest and last release from their first mini album NEW DNA btw a bit of background, XG has all japanese members but is formed as like a kpop adjacent group. their songs are all in english for the global market. debut was march 2022. for me they are a COMPLETE group, no holes talent-wise for me. i agree when you said they pull their own weights and they are a veeery cohesive group. i also agree when you said about those kpop expressions being cringy 😅 i don't feel that with XG too! their my fave group at the moment because of how complete their whole concept is. they all look natural on stage and they're always such a treat to watch! they've already had performances in various music festivals like 88rising's Head in the Clouds, and they are great live performers too!

But there really is no weak dancer in this group! Ps the head piece reference to their fandom name alphaz and mascot is a wolf. Also the hand when they bow is in wolf/alphaz hand logo!

Id recommend their debut song for floor work, Grl Gvng for the multilayered (the incorporation of ASL for deaf/hard for hearing, AND their amazing use of prop-chairs throughout performance), New Dance their "easiest" choreography but the dancer in them able to like accent all the moves making it difficult to perfectly convey like them? Lol but also take what i say with grain of salt bc im not a dancer! Anyways keep up the great content
