I love using Dance dance with her because I'm currently someone who isn't farming artefacts till later, so the character tend to be slower than a lot of boss enemies but because of Aster my whole team usually goes first most of the time so long as I have ult ready plus there are lot of times where in the middle of battle the whole team just gets go again for another turn.
I just beat SU-W6 for the first time today, and Asta absolutely saved the run. Cocolia is at about 17% HP in Phase 3 with about 40% shield. Asta and Sushang are sub-400 HP: 1. Asta broke Cocolia's shield (from like 40%) to buy time. 3. Natasha used her skill on Asta, giving herself enough energy to ult heal everyone. 4. Then it came to Asta's turn again, she could ult. 5. Fire Stelle got her turn to use skill to get everyone shielded. 6. Sushang gets one more attack off. 7. Cocolia goes nuts at 3% HP and kills Asta. 8. One more attack from Sushang and Fire MC and Cocolia goes down Even though Ata ended up dying, she absolutely did work.
Her and Bronya are perfect for meme team builds. Just straight speed stacks for shits n gigs, combine with Seele and Yukong or any other support... You know where I'm going with this.
I dont really like Tingyun (for reasons I can't really articulate but are probably related to how her skill makes an incredibly annoying microsoft windows notification sound), but I wasn't entirely sure how to best put asta to use. Thanks for this guide!!! it was super helpful :D

Break effect is different from break effeciency. Break effect increases the dot/slow upon weakness break & break effeciency improves the depletion of the weakness break bar. Just stick to Musketeer set tbh

Once I hit TL60 this weekend and I can power up its going to be crazy…. And what you mentioned about welt makes me think Loucha will be a better fit for the team than Natasha who I’m currently using. I'm going mostly f2p and have the luck of getting Seele and Clara, who do not go well together. Thought I got another 5 star recently but it ended up being another Clara and her light cone, which isn't bad but I'm hopin for that diversity.
Love using Asta in my Fire team (Himeko Asta FMC), especially with her sig LC. She's really a comfy option as a buffer. Really hope she gets into another banner soon enough (can't pull on SW because I want Luocha more than SW, even though I do have Bailu)
@@truckkun1712 Most people will tell you "building pity" is pretty risky if you don't want the limited character. And I'm actually already around pity 50 because I wouldn't have minded getting an early on Jing Yuan back then (and I was on guarantee). My goal was to get Sushang E1 and Tingyun E1. Building pity now would be risking at worst an early around 60-70, at best a 1/6 chance to get Asta. Doesn't sound like a very nice option to me ;)

@@lawrencehortizuela4978 i dont get it, why 60 is correct? Before E1 its 5 hits total, 30 toughness (initial hit) + 15*4 toughness (4 hit afterwards) which is 30+60 = 90. After E1 its one more hit so its 90+15 = 105
so uhhh i have around 7 Planetary Randezvous light cones. and i have Himeko E1. And i got Silver Wolf just yesterday. SO I MADE A MONO-FIRE TEAM i mean +24% damage is very good. and i dont have to worry about weaknesses not being fire because Silver Wolf. what a funny game
its also the 5 energy after using an ultimate that scales with ER, so the amount of ER that she needs when using Ult into 2 E's is: 120/(5+(36+8)*2) = 1,29 or 129% total ER. 15% is her E4 and 19,4% is on a 5* ER rope which is already more than enough, not even need to use a Vonwacq. If we wanna know, is it possible to make her skill point neutral in 2 turns, we need to change it from 2 skills to 1 skill and 1 basic attack: 120/(5+(36+20+(8*2)) = 1,558 or 156% total ER, which is impossible even with Vonwacq. And what if we wanna make her to ult every 3 turns with 1 skill and 2 basic attacks: 120/(5+(36+8+(20+8)*2) = 1,142 or 115% ER total, which means that only her E4 or ER rope is enough, and Vonwacq is not needed again. Now the interesting part begins. When you start your MOC floor, you already have a half of your energy. It means that you cant start with your ult, and it also means that you need to get 60 energy somehow. Now we only have 1 proc of LC which is 8 energy, we have only 1 skill and we dont have 5 energy from using our ultimate. Lets calc it: 60/(36+8) = 1,363 or 137% ER total, which is reachable with E4 + ER rope + Vonwacq. But what you also can do, is to use the Thief set, which will get her 3 energy from any pyro break, and usualy most MOC floors starts with some small enemies. And if they dont have pyro weakness, then what are you even doing to yourself by bringing Asta to non-pyro weakness floor. When you start with her tecnique, you will instantly do 60 toughness damage to all pyro weak units, and even if they have 90 toughness, you then just do 1 skill on them and it will guarantee you at least 1 break: 60/(36+8+3) = 1,276 = 128% ER total, which again means that Vonwacq is not needed here. But we still cant use her ultimate just at the start of a battle, which lowers its value, so maybe better to use it on a next turn or when we actually need it? If we do so, we now can use 2 basic attacks instead of one skill, which will make it look like this: 60/((20+8)*2) = 1,071 or 107% total. And again, just Vonwacq is not enough, E4 or ER rope is more than enough. Now we can see the pattern. In most cases we need 28-29 ER, which is reachable with her E4 and +11 ER rope (lets be real, noone will stop at +11, and will lvl it up to +12 to get an extra substat roll) to be able to do 2 turn rotations, but if you dont have her E4, you better give up on it and do 3 turn rotations instead by doing 2 basic attacks and 1 skill, in which case she will get away with only 15% ER which is just a +12 ER rope. Also you can see that LC's like Memories of the Past S5 and Meshing Cogs S5 are absolute mandatory for her, because without those passives her ER reqs will skyrocket to the Moon and will be practically unreachable (just remove all "8"s from the formulas and change it to "0" and you will see). Conclusion: i'd rather not use Vonwacq at all, because it's practically unusable in most situations, and having Asta's E4 or ER rope or sometimes even both is more than enough IMO.

I play her with Luocha for a healer, Sampo as a dps, and i usually swap between Stelle for shields and aggro or Yukong for buffs on sampo and asta, their speed makes them start on Yukong>Sampo>Asta>Luocha so Yukong's buff works on both my damage dealers
so my asta has a little over 100 break effect (memories of the past LC + thief set bonus + relic break effect main stat). like .4 over 100, but still over. i dont generally use asta, like, at all, but i do use her for both weekly bosses and let me tell you right now she's good
Asta is great but since sw came out I'm using her less and less. I run a Clara team and a Jing yuan team. I can only use asta on JY team but since sw release I noticed a huge dmg spike replacing her for sw on my mono electric team. Sorry asta
The craziest thing with Asta is how low investment she is. I dont think her buffs scale with anything except talent level. I had her at level 60 with 1/6/6 talents with the most garbage relics and the only problem was break efficiency and hp
