I thought the same, nice truck but I liked the drivers cab better… and too big for getting the places we like to go.. so its a no from me… cheers Raynar 👍🏼
It’s a great show to go to if you have very deep pockets, my wife and I went in 2021, another show to check out in Germany is Adventure Southside, smaller but more gear orientated than vehicles, you also camp next to the Zeppelin factory so there’s pretty much always one flying around.
@Dave: Great video! Nice memories. It was a perfect show. The spirit on the campsite was really great. Open minded people everywhere. The owner of so many different trucks invited us to pop in and watch all the details. It was a lot of fun and inspiration. If everything works like we‘ve planed, we will be onsite next year with our own truck. Meeting you and Helen in real life was a great pleasure. Stay well and keep carry on 🤟☀️🍺…
Frank, it was get to meet you guys and thank you for making us feel so welcome. Yes you must take your camper to the show and show her off and inspire others… thank you for dropping a comment too 😁👍🏼🍻
What a great video. Keep an eye on watch view times for this. If it takes a nose dive at the10, 15, or 20 minutes mark chop this in parts 1,2, 3, erc...🎥👍 What a great show.
Great video of a massive show. However from my personal experience of travelling overland, the less you have the less there is to go wrong and it doesn’t sterilise the experience compared to travelling in mobile gin palaces. On reflection of the many trips I’ve done, it’s travelling by dirtbike and tarp that I look back on with the most fondness. Can’t say I remember the best night in a truck, but I reflect upon the worst nights under a tarp that still makes me smile, even though at the time it wasn’t fun. For this very reason I still refuse to use Satnav and much prefer looking at a map over my early morning coffee to plan my day ahead.
I can totally agree, backpacking i’d go and do tomorrow.. you’re at ground level and you need to engage with native people, use what evers to hand to make progress on your travels… thanks for the comment 😁👍🏼
They was lots of kit we would have said yes to, windows, water filters etc. but tbh some of the trucks were nice, but I think you’d be classed as a snob if you’d pulled up on any campsite.. and one thing we noticed about the expansive trucks, non add any adventure lines.. the campsites told a different story tho Barry.. 😉👍🏼
As you said place to be , but like wise the UK is weather dependent and not such a big following shame Europe couldn't come here , but still the choice and brands shows overland is big in Europe as always UK is on the back foot , I know we was represented by motorcraft Doncaster did you see many other UK suppliers there ? If we / I had a blank cheque I'd be bankrupt , but no fun in that long way till finishing our build but took away a few ideas from one of the trucks thanks for sharing and hellen deserved cake 😂 talk soon Dave safe travels .
Cheers Dean, don’t think they was any uk brands tbh.. and no one trying to sell that torsion system on any truck neither🤣 Trouble is with the UK and being an island people tend to fly places, we’re not very exciting im sorry to say! I’ve lost count the number of times someone as come up to us and the truck and asked what is it?????? The shows a real eye opener and I’m sure anyone thats been to Stratford and watching this can quite easily see its a real game changer.. 😁👍🏼 editing the campsite tour atm 🤯
Nice tour! I did a tour last year. Did you get Press acces? For 1.000.000 I would get a crewcab 6x6 unimog. And then go to unicat or blissmobil for a box with a roof that you can lower. So the truck stays under 3meter while driving. And an over the top Victron system 😁
thanks and I agree… hight matters, the lower the better. One thing that stood out was the fact they was no torsion Systems, Every box was rail on rail. Yes we got the press pass 😉👍🏼
Pure porn Dave, so much to see. I noticed your camera panned round to any rear racks and side steps! I liked the Grenadier having the aeroplane tracking on the doors and the scissor fold down mounts for the gravel boards to be a shelf on the yellow 110. 👍🏼🇬🇧🚚🚐🧰🔞😋
Those big trucks are what dreams are made of. Awesome vid
Yes they are! but as I always say it doesn't matter what you drive its wether or not you're doing it.. (travelling that is) 😂 thank you
1 million, looked good but I would spend it on a couple of the others! Awesome show thanks for taking us along. Stay safe both atvb 👍🦊

All very impressive Dave, was there anything there that both you and Helen thought yes I would love this one?
