He literally ran away when duryodhan was attacked by tribals, he was also allowed totake part in swayamvar but could not lift the bow. Secondly arjun marry ulupi because she threatened to kill herslef if he did not marry her, he married chitrangada for political reasons as pandavas needed allie and manipur needed hier. Draupadi herself married 5 husbands and other pandav too married different womn for political resons. So no need to fuss about it.
