I ordered 148CM. I usually ride 152CM. Will the 148CM make a difference on powder snow vs the 153?CM I was thinking to use the Nidecker alpha for tree runs and powder days
Hi TJ, just bought the Alpha APX and was aiming to get Union force bindings for it. I see you are using Atlas in this video, could you please share your opinion on the bindings? The guys at the shop told me the Force would be good but one could find better. Thanks!
What a great review. I was interested in this board because I am human after all and I find it gorgeous lol. But I think it's not for me. Besides, I got a Jones Tweaker this past season and even though it lacks a bit of pop, I am very happy with it. As I said, I love your detailed and independent reviews, not lying or saying that everything is great for everything, but I even love more your riding. You've got tons of style and technical skills, and a big set of tricks in your arsenal. What would you choose between this one and the Kazu Kokubo for an all mountain/doitall/only one board? (Just curious, because I am a multiple quiver guy). As you see, I like stabby tips lol, something rare these days. I miss the old Sickstick... Oh, and giving the fact that I am not a park rat anymore. I enjoy playing in pistes and off piste, ground tricks, side hits, ollieing signs, all that sht. PS: as a fun silly idea for a video, you could experiment with rare boards. For instance, there is a 153 wide rocker Ultrafear. It's labeled wide, but I gess that it could be considered volume shifted?... Or maybe to try to review boards from smaller or not so known brands, something that I think you have got a lot there in the US. I am very curious about all those barely known boards.
Hi thanks for the good review! I have the chance to get this board or the jones frontier (not that much offer here in argentina :( ) . ¿ which of those boards do you think will be more complete as an “all mountain freeride board” for a rider between intermediate and advance?
I switch it up pretty often. Last year was the bataleon boss, which is now the evil twin + and this season I've been spending a lot of time on the season nexus as well as the evil twin +
Quite unfortunate that Nidecker seems incapable of making flexible high-performance boards. I love my Mosquito and concept but find myself wishing that they would make something reasonably playful.
Great review as always
thank you!

I felt the in-bite at the tail to be quite grabby while riding switch
Anyone know if Board Archive is still riding the Bataleon Goliath as a daily driver or has he replaced it with something else?
last year he said he'd moved to the Boss:

But will it make me alpha
TJ, update your music intro. Maybe something a bit less on the elevator music spectrum
