I want you to know that I watched the first half of this on my living room TV, and at one point a wolf howled in the background. My dog stayed sound asleep on the couch next to me, but my mom's two doves cooed back to the wolf. Made me laugh :D
1:45:31 I love how the dev(s) made the mountainside look like skulls in this bit. I wonder if they did it anywhere else on the map. I had to do a double-take to make sure I wasn't imagining things. There are a lot of beautiful artistic choices in this game.🖤☠🖤 Edited to add- I'm glad Gary pussied out of jumping the gap the first time. Had he not he wouldn't have realized that "Oh my God, the mountain is skulls!"😉
Spaceballs is SO top tier. Not all of Mel Brooks' jokes land, but when they do, they are uncommon gold. :) "I knew it......I'm surrounded by arse holes." "These are not them! You have captured....their STUNT DOUBLES!" He's so dang creative, it's glorious. That and Mongo from Blazing Saddles. Love Mel Brooks' brand of genius. :) Alien bursts from chest, John hurt gets his callback in, then the singing "Hello MY BABY, HELLO MY DARLIN, HELLO MY RAG TIME GALLLLLL" :)
I was obsessed with this story as a kid - can't believe I didn't know there's a game about it! My next thought: Oh God, Sean Bean is going to play one of the explorers isn't he... he's progressed to being dead from the beginning! 😳
