I never truly understood the whole saying of singers sing what they can, Floor sings what she wants until I saw all her performances on Beste Zangers and her covers on her personal channel, she's truly something else!
This is the best version ever of this song. So emotional, and so beautiful vocals from Floor. Do you want to see the hard rock side of Floor? Northward with While love died, her project together with Jörn Viggo Lofstad of Pagan’s mind. She’s awsome there 😀😀👍

I liked emmas version of strong. She did good. For me i didn't care so much care for samantha or ruben or rolf but it was overall fun to watch a show on dutch. Worked better with translation for me. Thanks again to Denise who did the first translated ones.

This is just an otherworldly display of artistry by the Queen...just amazing. No matter how many times I watch it I get the Floor-bumps and teary eyed.
Floor comes across, to me anyway, as being quite maternal in the way she sang. Maybe it's because she was singing to Emma. A true verbal hug that warms the heart.
All her performances on the show were top notch, of course.
Haha, we all love Floor 💕👸. I can't listen the "original" of this anymore, mostly due the powerplay of the mainstream channels. But Floor i can listen anytime. She's like a human missile cruiser, who launches emotional missiles straight to our heart and soul. ⛄👍

I have seen vocal coaches reacting to this and explaining how much more difficult it is to sing in pianissimo(very light & airy tone) like this, with this much control, than to belt super high notes in full voice.
And that would be completely true. Pushing out something that sounds stable without a lot of airflow is incredibly hard. No lies there :)

You got the best song First, Winner. Check out the Total story where Tim wrote the song about. She also Did this song as a duo with Tim Akkerman, een beetje steviger.
You should definitely watch the talk before and after as well, and this for all of her performances there, but especially for "Winner", "About Love I don't know a thing" and "Mama".

Floor is a huge Lady Gaga fan, She even sang a cover of "Bad Romance"in her first band "After Forever" 💕💕💕
She can do it all. Gaga loved it! It's so fragile and beautiful. And you're so right about Henk being proud like a dad. They really developed a kind of father daughter bond during this show. I don't give a F about any of the other seasons from this show, but the season with Floor and Henk... I can watch that again and again. And Ruben is always crying and Rolf always stares in awe with his mouth open when Floor sings. Hahaha. Prachtig.
You really need to see more from this show..

Please use the versions from jenniezelf or Denise Hof's YT. They have the intros and outros translated into English. It really adds to the music.
That would be hard to do as I watched all of the performances a while ago in a live reaction stream. I'm cutting it up in videos now so you can all watch it in bit size bits...

As for Floor well... there are really no words to describe her talent
Her first song of the series was for Henk Poort. She chose Vilja lied from the Metal Widow by Franz Lehar ... It was the first time most of the other participants had heard her sing.

I don't like the song when I hear it on the radio from Lady Gaga but this....This is something making a crap song into an amazing beautiful song. Floor just has that magic to do that and making you cry because how beautiful she sounds it
Always kinda wondering if its just the way she sings it. Or there is a severe element of emotional investment because its floor. Dont get me wrong its freaking good. But i think we like it more because its Floor.
