At last a positive reaction to Captain Marvel, I was already tired of videos where 2 minutes talked about the trailer and another 25 minutes of how they hate Brie Larson and how they will not see Endgame because the MCU is dead, I am happy to see that there are still fans that Love the MCU, but I'm sad that part of the Marvel fandom is as toxic as the Star Wars fandom.
Emily Rock Marsh it’s so devastating. like the mcu is finally doing so well with diversity and female leads and all of a sudden people are using that as a reason to leave!?? I don’t get it!! We are witnessing the climax of one of the greatest film epics ever, and a tiny minority of loudmouth trolls are trying to convince us otherwise because they have a selfish, mean-spirited agenda. Captain Marvel was good, and End Game is going to rock. Ignore the haters.
Captain marvel was just not great. And i think its the wrong move to make her the next face of MCU. She has not earned it. It should wanda or black widow. She will never replace steve rogers or tony as leader of the avengers. I didnt like brie as cap marvel. Emily Blunt would have been a much better choice. She was badass in the movie edge of tomorrow.
@@gebrilbastiaan3680 hmm-- no, Captain Marvel was not great, but does every MCU movie have to be? Especially when the bar has been set so high by the Avengers and Captain America movies. Not all MCU movies are equal-- the first two Thor movies left a lot of people cold, and imo the second two Iron Man movies were meh. In a huge franchise with different writers, directors and actors, this is normal. Expecting every movie to hit the same mark as Civil War or Winter Soldier, not to mention Infinity War, is a very high expectation indeed.
In my opinion Captain Marvel was a good movie (not perfect) that got the job done, which was to introduce Captain Marvel. And you're welcome to have reservations about Brie Larson. Whether she's got the chops to bring the character to life long-term has yet to be established, but I am willing to let her have the chance.
Oh, and btw, in my opinion Edge of Tomorrow was painfully wrong-headed, and the only good thing about it was Emily Blunt. So there, we do agree on at least one thing. :)

So I got to school at like 7:15 or something like that in the mourning the day this trailer came out. Me and my friends play games at the lunch tables in the morning on our phones so I did the usual and went to the lunch table and pulled out my phone and saw this mother flurking trailer on my recommended and I was like it’s about fricking time! I turn it on and I was freaking out throughout the entire thing. My friends who aren’t as big of fans as me were like what happened I’m like shut up the trailer is playing! I watched it like 10 times and by then I had to go buy my books in my locker and head for first period lol.
