Droid 447 I hope so too. I know Todd Howard is kind of against it though. He has said multiple times that he doesn’t like remastered versions and he likes seeing games in their original form. He has also said (I believe last year) that they will not be remastering fallout 3. In a more recent interview, he said things along the line that make him seem more open to it. But I wouldn’t hold your breathe. :( I would love to play a fallout 3 remastered on ps4, since when it came out I was in middle school living in a small town, so I didn’t have the chance to go to the city to buy it when it came out and internet was so slow here that it couldn’t download on steam.
So...the enclave has the "best equipment" available to the US government, and Ox has an alien gun. Can you imagine being an enclave soldier thinking your going do well in this fight against the brotherhood, only to get vaporized by a teenager from a backwater vault wearing old power armor and wielding alien technology
Lone Wanderer: Hey, Fawkes. Since your immune to radiation it’s the smartest choice to send you in there. Type in 216. Ron: You didn’t sacrifice yourself, you selfish asshole.
He didn't, he was just backed into a corner. If that was the case for you than it'd be different, but you had other means. Better means. It's like the narrator was this dramatic hipster that wanted you to sacrifice yourself just for the sake of being a martyr and 'hero'. I can see Sarah afterward looking over to Fawkes/Charon/RL-3 like 'wait, why didn't one of YOU go in, you're immune to radiation' and they're like 'I'unno, he/she never asked us to..'
Lachlan Maxwell it is not a bad think but rather a selfish one as people would remember for your false heroism in picking your suicide over much better options. The Truth has a expiration date but legends live forever, only that your fame will be used by those who claim to do it for your sake, only empowering themselves rather then the people
A part of another fictional world speech that fits with the Good Karma Self Sacrifice ending: "There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero never gets to see that ending. They’ll never know if their sacrifice actually made any difference. They’ll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.... Aint that a bitch." (If you know what this is from you're awesome)
I hope you spare Col. Autumn. He’s misguided, but still wanted to help people. Would have been cool to see him again... maybe someday the Enclave will rise again.
I played my character very strangely. I played the most of the game like a huuuuge edgelord. Not too much edge that they’ll kill everyone and blow up megaton, but enough edge to side with the residents of Andale. I played through most of the game including the story up to the final quest. It was me, Sarah and Dogmeat standing outside of the purifier. Reluctantly, my character went in and gave her life for the wasteland and it’s residents. So her story was pretty much a terribly crafted redemption arc. And this was before I had purchased Broken Steel, so this was pretty much it.
BullyHunter 366 I always side with Arefu in one way or another, they are pretty cool for picky canibals. Ladykiller in fallout 3 is underwhelming tho, JUST LET ME BANG BITTERCUP I DONT CARE IF SHE CHEATS ITS JUST A ONE NIGHT STAND

The game classifies me as a hero for going into the chamber and getting lethally bathed in radiation. Meanwhile, SHREK over here is completely immune to the radiation and is clearly the smartest choice to send in there, and I get SCOLDED for making the smartest choice!
Every time I hear those words 'War, War never changes' it always gives me chills. Can't wait to see what's in store for the stuff I didn't know existed in broken steel
There are more slide depending if you finish some side quest Lincoln Memorial is one and the ghoul inside the museum is another one there couples doesn't change the ending but are more slides
You know, people in the comments are bashing on the game for giving the player harsh words if they sent a radiation proof companion, but I think it is a recording issue. I don't think that the developers could get the original voice actor to come back and record new dialouge, and just reused the voice lines for Sarah's sacrifice
I feel real sad for Fawkes cause without the broken steel dlc he/she travel with the lone wander just for a couple of hours/days before they have to say farewell
falloutnvspartan117 I had a save before Broken Steel where I simply did not activate the final battle by talking to Sarah. I did all the side quests with Fawkes. Before I had the DLC I had the option, but Fawkes always said I had to follow my destiny and he can't do it for me
Not a true fan
"I'd say your destiny lies within that chamber, but that would make this a bad game! Good thing you bought the DLC!"
*Laughs in Broken Steel* The Original ending sucked not sending in Fawkes or RL-3 is the most illogical choice to make.
And still, ending narration bashes You for making logical decision, as if making a pointless sacrifice would be more heroic... :|
Did Fawkes become like the rest of the mutants after the rads? He seemed kinda out of it while he was in there
Hell, I remember when the original ending (before broken steel) was set for you to die and if you tried asking Fawkes to turn on the purifier, he basically says 'Nah man, that ain't my destiny. It's yours, so you better get in there."

I want them to remake fallout 3 for the next gen consoles
Droid 447
I hope so too.
I would love to play a fallout 3 remastered on ps4, since when it came out I was in middle school living in a small town, so I didn’t have the chance to go to the city to buy it when it came out and internet was so slow here that it couldn’t download on steam.
Fallout 3 doesn't need a remastered or remake just fallout 1 & 2
Fallout 1 and 2 but first person
there is a mod coming out in fallout 4 capital westland you play fallout 3 in fallout 4
So...the enclave has the "best equipment" available to the US government, and Ox has an alien gun. Can you imagine being an enclave soldier thinking your going do well in this fight against the brotherhood, only to get vaporized by a teenager from a backwater vault wearing old power armor and wielding alien technology
Oxhorn, please complete Head of State as it is still missing from all your Fallout 3 videos
@BeTheDeathOfMe I think it was pretty irrelevant to wait this long then 😂😂
AD VICTORIAM!
I didn’t know you could say goodbye to Dogmeat, that was heartbreaking.
Lone Wanderer: Hey, Fawkes. Since your immune to radiation it’s the smartest choice to send you in there. Type in 216.
Ron: You didn’t sacrifice yourself, you selfish asshole.
Im unsure how asking fawkes/sergeant rl3/charon to do it is a bad thing
Same
He didn't, he was just backed into a corner.

SHOPLIFTER BEWARE!

Liberty prime
It would be cool if Liberty Prime DID know what year it was and what had happened, but could only say what it had been programmed to say.
A part of another fictional world speech that fits with the Good Karma Self Sacrifice ending:
"There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero never gets to see that ending. They’ll never know if their sacrifice actually made any difference. They’ll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith....
Aint that a bitch."
(If you know what this is from you're awesome)
Seeing Liberty Prime storm the Enclave is still one of the most badass scenes in all the Fallout games!
"Turning to Fawkes"
*Fawkes turns his head and acts like he didn't hear you*
I hope you spare Col. Autumn. He’s misguided, but still wanted to help people. Would have been cool to see him again... maybe someday the Enclave will rise again.
Lyons asking for “chivalry” the second she’s asked to make a sacrifice is pretty hilarious.
I love how much oxhorn worries for the sergeant when he went in there and shut down for a second
16:22 imagine a spoof version of the song "My Sharona" by The Knack coming on while Charon successfully starts up the purifier 🤣😅💓
Why is it that I find it funny when fawkes does his little strut
LMAO ITS SO FUNNY WHEN HE RUNS I SWEAR 😭😭

FAQ!
Fun tip after your dad dies in the memorial after the Enclave show up you can do the Moira trick and get Colonel Autumn's 10mm pistol and Uniform as well as your father's uniform (Dads wasteland outfit)
It's kinda cute how RL-3 gets scared and then raises one eye at the time after activating the purifier
Sarah: "We need someone to activate the purifier, or were all gonna d-!"
Me: *"FAWKES, GET THE HELL IN THERE!"*
Ray Marinas Mine was similar: RL-3! Code’s 2-1-6! MOVE IT SOLDIER!
I was like: *making big eyes* "charooooon? Can you do me a favor, pwetty pweety pleaaase?"
You'd think the enclave would run from prime but nah mate nah
And I used Charon instead of fawkes best case scenario if Charon was injured on the way, the rads will heal him
X6-21 I used RL-3, since Charon could potentially turn feral from all the rads
@@KCRycePatty I know but who says he isn't already look at azrukal
But fawks is a god though
What I liked about this game is that unlike most open world games, where once you finish the game you are simply free to roam with nothing to do, this game never ran out of missions, quests, etc. Loved it sooo much! Changed my life
15:38 Im dead XD, a ghoul Mozart turn around with glasses
Autumm: we did it we took the purifier
Brotherhood: ohh no you don't *activated Liberty Prime*
Liberty Prime: ill show you Communist party *throw Preston nukes and Settlement help laser*
The Enclave: Stop with the settlements Preston please
Preston: There's more settlements that need
Enclave: *surrender and end all operation and plans to the future*
Autumm: Im here im the Enclave so follow my orders
Narrator: When the Enclave surrender and confused and Autumm killed the Brotherhood of Steel won but its not end of story stay tuned for more accurate story or my story
That good bye to dog meat got me right in the feels.
Wish i could have added "the good guys won this one" when I said "you lost"
Using his own words against him...
The game classifies me as a hero for going into the chamber and getting lethally bathed in radiation.
Meanwhile, SHREK over here is completely immune to the radiation and is clearly the smartest choice to send in there, and I get SCOLDED for making the smartest choice!
In my FO3 playthrough I was so pissed off when I got to the end and didn't kept Fawkes with me.
Wanderer: I have a friend who can start up the purifyer with no bodily harm! Noone has to die!
Narrator: I'm about to end this whole man's career.
Every time I hear those words 'War, War never changes' it always gives me chills. Can't wait to see what's in store for the stuff I didn't know existed in broken steel
Honestly, I could sit and listen/watch Liberty Prime go on a rampage all day.
The entire purifier: *ABOUT TO EXPLODE*
Oxhorn: *Standing around explaining all the dialogue tree of Col. Autumn and his loots*
I know there are in fact views but I've never been early enough to see no views on an OX video I'm happy
I know I am late to the party but thank you for making this fully series. It has been amazing in the background while working from home.
Dude when I was 9 and I completed the game I swear that ending actually made me cry.
*sends in someone immune to radiation so no one has to needlessly die*
Narrator: But muh sacrifice 😠
fallout nv ending > fallout 3 ending > fallout 4 ending
There are more slide depending if you finish some side quest Lincoln Memorial is one and the ghoul inside the museum is another one there couples doesn't change the ending but are more slides
**OX HORN**
Hey ox just from looking at the intro can you do like a little fallout three movie.
Got the explorer perk, and cleared every location. Then I did the ending. I only picked up the game again when I got the game of the year edition.
Liberty Prime is the coolest thing in the entire fallout universe the Kings are a close second.
Absolutely no one:

Autumn: Tell your father I said hello.
*My OC raises Jingwei's Shocksword*
My OC: Tell him yourSELF!"

The first time I played Fallout 3 I did a sloppy playthrough of it and sent Fawkes in because it seemed like a good choice, then the narrator shamed me so the second time I did a full serious and detailed playthrough of Fallout 3 I went in myself, and almost ran out of time trying to figure out the code until it hit me and I thought of the revelation that mom loved.
Thank goodness I wasn't the only one! I felt so dumb having to figure out the code in the final seconds after having it repeated over and over through the game.
That said, the moment it hit me was one of my favorite memories in video games. It felt great.
Shame it was followed by staring at Fawkes through the glass while dying of radiation...
i dont know why, but the last shot of the cinematics with the music box at the photo with your dad always made me sentimental
10:02 she got bars tho dem rhymes is hawt
Hey Ox amazing video! And and even better series thank you for your hard work and dedication. Also just a tid bit I thought was funny you accidently called Colonel Autumn, "Eden" at around 7:30 not sure if that'd be something you'd want to edit or something
I remember playing that part of Liberty Prime. God damn, I though my PS3 gonna explode and do a freaking Fallout in my room
the ending kinda gives "you need to die so my speech about sacrifice to be long" and and it defy all logic and common sense
