Wow!! Usually I have my wife milk our cows by hand, but after seeing your video I'm going to order one of these. Had I not seen it on your channel, I would have had NO IDEA that this even existed! Thank you, Florida Homestead.
Man kudos to you brother wanting to be mostly self sufficient. A lot of people are too hooked on technology and the world. Its good to tune out and live your life semi off the grid
Yes would be nice. I can’t get suction thru mine. I’m missing stickers. Stickers are a lovely idea. Until they aren’t. I have a 5 sticker on the clear milker top. But 3 hoses with no stickers. Where does the 5 connect to?
Hi there thank you so much for your video! me and my husband have ordered one, but it hasn’t come in yet, so I am researching it. I was curious I know that supposedly with machine milking, you have to be careful not to over milk the teats, I’ve heard someone say you have to watch each tubing from each teat, and when you don’t see milk flowing out of that particular teat tube, then it’s time to take that one off. But I notice on this machine that the tubing is black and you cannot see through the individual teat tubes. Do you have any advice on being careful not to over milk with this particular machine? Thank you!
@@aploss1772 we have had ours for a a little while now and definitely took a learning curve! I know this was 9 days ago and maybe you have figured it out by now, but yes it’s harder to see which quarter is done bc of the black tubing- but the clear part that the tubing it connected to is what I would try to watch as far as trying to tell if a quarter is done. Of course it’s hard to check this on the other side of it unless you have 3 or 4 quarters attached, and you can let the milker hang without holding it-therefore you can walk to other side of cow to check if milk is still coming out of those quarters more easily. Hope that makes sense! I was pissed at the milker for the first few days bc trying to hook up the next quarter without losing suction on the ones already hooked up- very frustrating! But finally got more used to it. But still get very mad at it sometimes! You need 3 hands. But it does save a lot of time as far as the actual milking time which helps when you also have young children!
Thank you for this video. I wish I had found it before yesterday, when we received and assembled our machine. One question I do have is, at 7:12 you mentioned "utilizing this piece right here, you can go ahead and attach one at a time." I don't understand what to do with that particular piece to help attach the cups.
They are special cow udder sanitation wipes we found on Amazon. If she seems dirty we will scrub with some warm water and dawn dish soap before using the wipes
We have this same machine, been using it for 4-5 months with 1 cow. Lately in the last couple of weeks i have the pressure built up to the gree(a little above 0.04) & as the milker is attached after 3-4 minutes the pressure drops down 0.03. I went through & thoroughly cleaned everything, cut hair around teats to make sure the cups were sucking well with no occlusions. Any thoughts?
I was wondering how to get the cover of the claw part? It's got a film inside. I clean after milking with soapy water and then rinse with hot water. Before milking I run bleach water thru and then rinse with hot water. But it still has a film inside.
Hey nice video men i like, could u make a short of the machine working with only his sound? I want your opinion about how the machine works, it falls of when the cow makes a lot of milk?
Probably as little information on how to put together, use the device, and get it safely hooked up to and released from the cow as you could include, nice ad I guess
@EmmelineB Have you found a better video detailing the steps you mentioned, for this machine? Because this video is the most detailed that I've found so far. Yes, there may be a few steps that we'd like more information on but why not ask him specifically what you are looking for instead criticizing?

Glad I could help!

Make a video of how you clean that machine, I have the same machine and it is a pain for me to keep clean.
Some of my stickers came off in shipping and the directions SUCK
Looking good poon
I don't guess there is a video that will help a person who's stickers came off. I just need a picture.......

Lol we had the same problem with our stickers, but we figured it out by zooming in on a few pictures/videos.

I just received mine yesterday and I'm thinking the same thing. With black tubing how can you check?

Do you pull that release tab on bottom to remove from the cow or shut the machine down to remove?
Please, explain how to adjust the pressure. Mine won't come up to 4.
Do you have some recommendations on the pressure just purchased one and the pressure stays in the yellow and does not go up

I think those cups are to pressure setup the machine, so when its in green its good :)
What do you clean the udder with? I wish I’d have had access to it earlier in my life.

ours didn't come with instructions, your video was really helpful. But we don't have the green things. Do you know how to get some?
Hii great video really helped me 👍 so how long does it take you to get the cow completely milked?
It takes about 5-8 minutes!
Thanks a lot man really like your style 😁

im still waiting for the homemade icecream video.
How do y’all clean it out?
Would you please give me the dimensiones of the package box. HxLxW Thanks.
What's the best way to store the machine?
Nice deep V

🤨

Hey some people need an instruction manual for breathing and eating. I explained the best I could 😃
Ours never gets to the green range making it basically useless
This machine is not great if you want to milk by yourself. The teat cup falls off everytime. Need octopus hands
Did you find an answer for the claws coming off? We are struggling?
