This is one of those decks that I've looked at (and thought "meh"), and looked at (and thought, "meh"), and looked at (and thought "meh"), and looked at, and thought "I MUST HAVE IT IMMEDIATELY!!!"
The last time this happened, it was with the Spiral Tarot, which is now once of my most beloved decks.
Thanks for this thoughtful and informative review!

The questionable symbol on the Death card looks like a ring next to the symbol of Saturn. If that is true, it could symbolize the eternity of time and the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth. Death is a necessary part of the eternal cycle of time with the destruction of the old for the creation of the new. In Kabala, destruction was part of the creation of the universe, as part of the duality; you can't have creation without destruction, you can't have life without death. The universe is not stagnant, it thrives on change. We thrive on change. We may resist it at first, we may be uncomfortable and maybe even fear it, but without it life is pretty dull and our will suffers from lack of excitement and inspiration. Holy shit, I think I may need to buy this deck, lol!

I have to get this deck. I have a harder time with symbolism and you are beautifully poetic in your explanation of the cards. Fantastically done!

I love the seven of wands actually made sense to me intuitively feels like the person in the card is standing in their truth because they seem to be non-conforming non binary and refuses to label themselves as male or female. As u fortunately in society their are people who still discriminate against those who are different. I saw what looked like breast and short hair on the person in the seven of wands. So maybe while the battle may be more of a mental one not physical it's still a battle. When one comes out as who they really are. I loved that card very much as this issue of sexual orientation and gender hits home. I love how they are standing strong in the card image and are saying this is my truth I will not conform. Such a great interpretation of the seven of wands they stand up without resorting to violence. sorry the card just spoke to me.

Maybe that extra symbol hanging from the scythe is just a circle representing that the soul has no beginning or end?

The rune of the empress looks like the elder furthark rune "Inguz" - fertility, faith

The Star card looks very masculine. If she has a throne on her head = Isis. Blue lotuses may have had a hallucinagenic property to them(?). Hello Artie!

Hello.. The spellcasters tarot; I know that the elements for wands and swords are switched (air & fire) but are the original Meanings the same? Ty

I was trying to decide about this deck. I didn't like at all the Hierophant card and the fact that swords are the element fire. but I liked your comments about the card. the art is beautiful and I feel it. so I think I. will get it soon

Interesting how you said “he” and “she” about the lovers card. I right away saw 2 women when I got this deck whereas my mother thought it was 2 men. I think that’s also why there’s a rainbow in the sky, the gay pride symbol. And why they’re cloaked and you can barely see their faces. It could be 2 men, 2 women, a man and a woman, whatever represents you. Very nice choice of image, as the typical heteronormative lovers card in most decks can get a bit tiresome and bland for people who aren’t straight :)
