My mito driver door handle doesn’t work on the outside. Once the door cards off is there a cable that could’ve snapped or jumped? The locking mechanism still works
Have you ever considered swapping wing mirrors with ones that are electrically folding ones (OEM), is the additional wiring already there or is this not feasible? You'd have to swap the window button panel in the driver's door with one that has the mirror folding button, but would it even work? I know you can easily swap the rear view mirror with an auto dimming one (just hook up power), but electrically folding mirrors I haven't read anyone retrofitting.
@@ItaliaAutos that's why I was thinking about taking them from a wrecked car, but I have to take the door card to figure out if there is any wiring for it already or if I'm out of luck (6pin vs 4pin off the top of my head)
@@ItaliaAutos Upon further reasearch power folding mirrors have an additional 2pin connector. Very unlikely the car has the necessary wiring if they weren't fitted stock. I wonder if it's just power and ground, not a canbus signal. Power folding is not integrated with any other features, they don't autofold and unfold when you turn the car on/off, they're manually operated by the button on the door only, so there might be a relay somewhere... I guess it's too much hassle.
@@ItaliaAutos it's an absolute hassle to unclip the four clips, I got defeated today. I want to tap into power there and put a small power supply for a dash cam
2:55 Is it possible to remove the door limiter at this point?

Normally a broken cable.

@@TomaszDominikowski think the auto folding are 7 wire. switch mirrors and a proxy alignment might work.

Bit late I know but in case anyone else sees this, you have to drill the rivets out to get speaker out.
