They had such a beautiful love story. I am currently rewatching before the final season and I simply adore them. I always liked them as characters and as a couple but they always were in the shadow of bellarke or linctavia.. Now I really have to admit they story is perfect.. From beginning till the end

I need to vent this: I genuinely wish the 100 had ended after they died because it would have left the show feeling hopeful and not carry on with the rest of the characters continuing the kill and not be merciful. It completely devalues everything that Monty and Harper did for the human race. Two scenes that will always make me tear up is when Monty holds up the plant in between the two battling tribes and the shot of Jordan Jasper Green smiling. It showed how Monty symbolizes the last ray of hope for humanity. It was a solution that would have prevented more deaths, but of course, everyone was too prideful and violent to even consider it. I hated how the show never chose humanity and made Monty look naive when he was the only rational and moral person. I'm very proud that an Asian man portrayed him. Also, Monty was always the most underrated character because he was a friend to everyone and was always the one with the solution to save everyone. Without him, they would be dead. In Mount Weather, Clarke took credit for saving the people for turning a switch when it was Monty who hacked into the database and made it possible. He suffered just as much as any character -- he had to watch his mom turn savage and kill her, he was guilt-ridden by his actions on the mountain, he watched his friend go insane and kill himself (and sometimes blamed and lashed out at Monty for everything), and he watched his closest friends turn into monsters that backstabbed each other i.e Octavia, Clarke and Bellamy. Christopher Larkin does not get enough credit for the brilliancy of his scenes either. His reaction to watching Jasper die was heart-wrenching, and I know there was not a single dry eye when we watched Monty's death -- i still cry everytime. He always watched out for others, and the only one who ever noticed him or put him first was Harper. She started off as a side character, and I was afraid she would hurt him once their relationship started, but they grew to genuinely love and support each other through everything and were the only healthy and long-lasting relationship in the 100. I'm glad that they lived happy lives because the human race did not deserve their kindness.
My most favorite couple in the 100 and possibly any other show. Started as a simple hormone drive by harper to being a genuine relationship. Monty's humanity rubbed off on harper
Monty was just THE F*CKING GOAT in this Series. He always did what he had to, even killed his Mother "twice". He always did his best and without him they would have all been dead. And no, he didnt got a bad ending. Actually he became a better ending than many characters in the series. He lived a long live together with his wife and even got a son. He had a happy, long life and a relatively "good" Death. And he could even rescue his friends one last Time.(Unlike some other Charakters🙃)
Billie Eilish + the 100? Yes please! This was a really beautiful edit for these two. I've always liked their relationship, it felt like one of the most human relationships in the show. And you showed It off so well with this beautiful song, well done!! :D
