    Great video! I didn’t like the price at first but there is a lot of value in the suspension, extras, reliability, and comfort that are more important than power… to some.

      Some people go fast in straight lines and wide open trails or dunes… others will go fast on rougher terrain no matter the HP because holding a speed confidently is more important than trying to go too fast

    I don’t care what anyone says about Kawi not boosting their engines with turbos…. They build extremely strong machines and the company backs them up. I just took possession of a new 2022 ultra 310lx jetski and that things build quality is so far in front of the seadoo I sold it’d make your head spin. So maybe they don’t have 200HP SxS’s but the products are well built, reliable and long lasting machines. I’d take that over 200HP and headaches any day!

    Been on the sidelines for a sxs for awhile. Coming from the LandCruiser and jeep world. Went in to Rocky mountain atv and ordered a 4 seat ES SE the day after Kawasaki announced it. Much of my decision was based on your 2 seat review. Looking for rock crawling and comfort (for the family). They said it should be here in July. Think I’m 1 or 2 on the list. Can’t wait!

    I just picked up my 2022 Bronco sasquatch 4 door 3 days ago. Its occurred to me that by the time I add a windshield, wiper, street legal kit, full doors, heater, back glass, cab seal kit, spare tire etc, I may as well just order another base 2 door bronco as far as money is concerned. I have a place in Idaho surrounded by national forest and even in July and August, once the sun goes down you want windows and heat. In the 7 months of winter, forget using either one. Where am I OFF on my thinking????????

      It’s the same with cars… everyone wants high horsepower but if you actually take them to a track or some kind of course or various trail systems you will own them with a lesser horsepower vehicle if the handling department does it’s job. Most people only go fast up a sin dude or in a nice wide open trail but not many of them are actually getting overwhoops at 50-60+ mph. This thing can sit at 70 miles an hour down a trail they be just as comfortable as any of these turbo option vehicles

    Great review. I used to bleed Green and was excited when Kawi announced a SXS to the world. Then it came out and I laughed at the HP. Kawi used to dominate in the power category years ago in Street sport bike and pro sport racing. Then they dropped off in dominance, probably with new management came the change. Same guys probably running the power division now which IMO should all be fired. Kawi should at least offer both non and turbo options! Give customers a choice and my money will be more Turbo units will be sold vs non-turbo. Most will not turn down more HP in the off road sector.

    I’m gonna have to agree with the rest of the crowd they needed to upgrade the power some maybe not go turbo that can be the aftermarket part of Kawasaki but they should’ve looked at that part of the deal a little bit more in depth and maybe they did and just decided to go this way that kind of reminds me of Harley for all those years you needed to spend a lot of extra money if you wanted the power and maybe that’s why I don’t drive a Harley as well…. It took too long for them to figure out we want the power as well … I don’t see myself buying one in this configuration

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  2 года назад +2

      There’s definitely a crowd that wants more power in the KRX. It appears their focus is the crowd who is not concerned about more power. I’m sure there’s sales numbers and research to back up that choice. Companies don’t make products like this without solid evidence on projected sales. -Joe

      @@DerangedOffRoad I agree, if you have a 2 seater and like the power and its delivery this will be no different. The turbo Razors are fun to drive but I’ll take my KRX any day. Not to mention I’ve never had a problem on the trail other than a flat tire. My dad rolled his on it’s side and it’s still going strong. I can’t say the same for the other machines. If you want someone to hold your beer so you can win races buy something else. If you want to hold your own beer and get to the finish line in one piece this is the machine. It will move when you want it too and in wide open areas I haven’t lost anyone yet. The turbo let’s them get far enough ahead that I’m not eating their dust. This machine is like me, built for comfort not speed. On a side note if you factor in the time spent swapping belts on the trail for other machines it’s the turtle and the hare scenario. I’m usually waiting on someone else to fix their rig. In the mountains or rocky terrain the turbo has no advantage over the KRX. This thing eats obstacles for breakfast.

Normal trail riding you’re ok but non turbo don’t try stuff that could possibly kill you or someone .
