As the breakout star of the X-Men, Wolverine has appeared in hundreds of Marvel comics, cartoons, games and Wolverine movies over the course of Wolverine history. Throughout the history of Wolverine, then and now, he’s consistently been clad in countless costumes throughout the comic books. The evolution of Wolverine costume begins in the ‘70s, with his initial yellow and blue design from John Romita. From there, Wolverine evolution went away from bright colors towards an iconic brown and orange design from John Byrne before returning to the classic thanks to Jim Lee. Logan underwent even more changes during the new millennium, but Wolverine, X-Men, and other mutants have always been defined by their colorful costume, and the Canucklehead is no exception.
The X-Men movies and Wolverine movies, on the other hand, have always disappointed in terms of their costume design. The Hugh Jackman Wolverine is one of the most iconic superhero performances of all time, but the X Men movies have always shied away from Yellow Spandex. In fact, they made it a joke. So sadly, we never got to see the Hugh Jackman Logan movie running around in tights and a mask, instead we were stuck with the lousy leather jumpsuits established in the first XMen movie. NowThis Nerd Kya has never been a fan, and she hopes that in the future, the Wolverine movies will have a more appropriate Wolverine costume.

Magneto ripping out his adamantium didn't make him feral. It was Cable's son Genesis trying to put adamantium back into Wolverine, and ultimately failing, that made Wolverine feral.
Genesis made him feral after trying to rebond adamantium back into his body but Wolverine rejecting the metal and becoming feral and would go on in this form until The Twelve which is a story focusing on Apocalypse trying to become God by acquiring Twelve Mutants who represent the twelve elements and needing his last horsemen recruited both Sabretooth and Wolverine and had them fight to determine who would become the Horsemen Death being Wolverine who won the battle not wanting Sabretooth to go on a killing spree but would receive also Sabretooth adamantium and would return to classic Wolverine

No. MCU will never give him the costume. They didn't gave Scarlett Witch her comic accurate costume, did they.
@The Beauty of Rashida they couldn't even have Iron Man and Mandarin in the same movie. That's like as easy as easy can go when it comes to faithfully adapting comics.
Wolverine's brown duds are my favorite, they fit the character more, but it's still an instantly recognizable superhero costume.

Here's an interesting fact for you before the X-men animated series of the 90's. There was an X-men cartoon movie called The Pride of the X-MEN. I'm sure you have seen it, since there is a clip from it in this video. But the funny thing about it is that the voice actor playing Wolverine coudn't do a canadian accent, so he did an australian accent. Then Wolverine is played by Hugh Jackman in the movies, who we all know is from Australia.
The brown one is what he wore when the character (and the X Men) became legendary comic book icons. Aside from the pointy boots, the brown one is a lot more iconic, less embarrassing and correctly on brand than the blue and yellow.

I'm partial to the Byrne's redesign. It made more sense for a guy who is stealthy and fast to wear muted colors.
Also, the return of the yellow and blue in the 1990's signaled a dumbing down of Logan. He went from a mature adult to a confused angry dude.
Here in 2024! Crazy they finally gave Wolverine the yellow suit and it’s based on the astonishing x-men suit! 😂
The brown uniform is always my favorite. The blue and yellow is classic. but there is just something more grounded, but still fun, and even a little more wolverine, about the brown.

You should do Venom! The amount of artist interpretations of him starting from Todd Macfarlane should give you enough material, as well as all the people who have worn the symbiote and had different designs with it (e.g. Mac Gargan's Venom having weird eyes). Plus you could mention the movie versions

Logan was basically set off in the future and x-men apocalypse was set in maybe 1980s and also showed us a glimpse of hugh jackman so there is a slight chance we may see him in dark phoenix or avengers 4 since fox and mcu are working on the deal

What pisses me off the most about the movie costumes is that they fucking nailed the Blue & Yellow look in First Class! It looked functional, individualized, and amazing all at the same time. But then they gave the franchise back to Brian Singer so....all black outfits again.

A lot of inaccuracies. For one, Grant Morrison's redesign was in 1999, not 2000. He influenced the costumes in the movie, not the other way around.

I've ALWAYS thought Hydro-Man for the Spiderman Cartoon was an interesting "Villan."
Put Hydro man and Sandman together, to get an awesome Character called MUD. Lol
It's sad but understandable that to avoid legal headaches, marvel largely doesn't allow fan in put for store or character design, cos there are tons of fans that have modernized both the tigerstripe and brown classic in ways that are both faithful but mature enough to work in both today's comics and even in the cinematic universe, which thankfully have already successfully Incorporated colourful costumes realistically.
