@@soundtrackmountain Agreed, and that one can be hard because they are family - and 110% agree that you don't have to associate with them unless you two can one day remedy the relationship into something healthy - I would encourage looking for that opportunity as well - and keeping your boundaries in the mean time 👊
We project our representations of the world and our representations of people, onto others, to some real degree. If we see someone's behavior, and it's ambiguous, we have a tendency to twist it into a way we believe we think we would behave. You can see this best with malicious people. A malicious person, will see someone do something benign, but then tell them selves that the person they're watching "Did it out of spite". As a person who finds spite disgusting and shameful, I see this from time to time in others construal of my behavior-- because they will then use this, to justify bad behavior towards me.
@chrisw7347 There's definitely no justifying poor behavior no matter if it's from us or someone else when we can simply act out of love and kindness + hold ourselves accountable, as well as learn and grow to always become better
@user-do4gc1bu7h Well I suppose the question then would be - What do you think the reason is for that? It might hold some valuable information for your next step in the process 🙌
@JohnDoe-i1h Haha, for sure - the video + your experience in your situation might let you know how it applies of course since you're living it 🔍 - Hope it helps in some way 👊
