Girl, here’s what I do on my birthday, (I hate parties): I save money the entire year so when it’s my birthday I take my man, jump in the car, we go out by ourselves to eat, we walk in quiet places, we go shopping or if my man is abroad I go by myself to massage, mani-pedi, I do something to relax me, to charge my batteries and make myself to feel special ya know and never, ever felt better, always I was sad about my birthday too, I never felt comfortable at surprise parties, it felt weird, but know I love it. So yeah, girl spoil yourself, take yourself out, pamper yourself, go outside to fresh air, you won’t regret it👌🏼😘 and HAPPY BIRTHDAY❤️

After having unexpectedly lost my older sister a year and a half ago, I've realized celebrating your bday ironically isn't about you in that way. It's about spending that time with your loved ones and those that love you, and making those memories celebrating you making it another year in this life. Life is short hon. Don't over think it.
