I feel so bad for this man. Imagine the pain to have a 1000 pound monster latch on to your shoulder with one of the strongest bite forces on this planet. Shattering the shoulder bone immediately and piercing the flesh. Then in a split second before you can catch a breath it uses its body weight to flip your kayak and you are upside down under the water. And in your last moments of life you feel this beast rip you from the tight fitting seat of your kayak and take you to the bottom of the river you struggle but you can't escape. You slowly drown in the crushing jaws of a monster. Your last thoughts being the regret of having constantly searched for your next thrill. Because if you hadn't you wouldn't be here dying in the jaws of a 15 foot Nile crocodile. You also wonder why it was you who was chosen by this predator. It is heart breaking truly. Rest in peace now.
It wasn't 1 crocodile, they said 15 20 foot 2000 pound crocs that were laying on the shore saw them and dozens jumped into the water towards them.... fucken must have been 1 of the scariest things alive.
Its a terrible way to go and shocking to the family and people who witnessed it. But it does seem like hendri had a death wish, its a miracle he didnt die earlier in his life in africa. Its gives me chills when supposedly when croc got a hold of him,, he didnt scream in panic but said “oh my god in a weird way form intonating reality.
I saw the documentary. It happened shortly after they got into the water. Their friend was lagging behind them. The camera was on his friend and he was looking back and said "Oh a croc just grabbed Hendri!" They started paddling quickly to get to the bank. The camera then showed his kayak upside down. You can see the final yank when the croc snatched him from out of the kayak. Quite eye opening because you literally never see them after that.
Bull... these kind of people deliberately and knowingly head into extremely dangerous places. leaving family and friends to deal with this nightmare. Shame on you.
I've been waiting to see this documentary since I saw you guys on the today show in 2010. Sorry for the loss of your buddy. Where can I check this film out?
It seemed as if The locals were laughing Like they knew this was suicide growing up around the rivers there.. Not putting this comment as a laughing matter but it just hit me when I heard all of them gathered at the bank laughing watching them paddle off.. creepy..
Actually the locals warned Hendricks and his crew bout hippos and crocs but yeah they were laughing cause they know if not one or all them weren’t coming back
@@anthonymcfadden9628 you didn’t need to respond with Actually, what I said never discredited that they never did warn them.. @@sassycat6487 yea its not very clear but his friends claim that it was a croc that flipped the boat from under and ate him which is highly possible. If it was a hippo they would have found the body
@@sassycat6487 yes it was a crocodile a friend witnessed it the crocodile latched on to his shoulder. It was likely 15ft+ only nile crocodiles live in that region. Extremely aggressive known man eaters. Not only that the kayak flipped upside down it was shaking for a few seconds then turned back up to the surface at which point he was gone. Hippos do not attack in that way. Sad to say make no mistake this man was taken by a crocodile and he was eaten entirely.

In his book he details the many times he was attacked by crocodiles, having to throw his helmet into the water cus one was too fast.
I hate that you can’t find this film anywhere. Why leave the trailer if it leads to nothing?
