Flat sided presentations are something to watch. The Dying Bluegill combines a swimming bait, with a really stall-able dead stick / twitch bait style of swimbait fishing. Stop the Dying Gill at any point, and the bait stops in place and slowly ascends toward the surface. Can be fished as a topwater twitch bait. This is sick! I've witnessed a bluegill floating (on its side) on the surface and I thought maybe it was dead or dying, But then I saw it's little side fine moving like it was trying to balance. All or the sudden "Slam!" a bass hit so hard it flew up into the air. It splashed water in my face and startled the heck out of me. That BG was in fear!, trying to play dead or make like a log. Awesome!
