- Come dive into the lush, kelp forests at Catalina Island off the California coast, then set sail south with us! Along the way we have some nice sailing conditions and get a chance to experience real life battleship maneuvers, dodging warships and have a close encounter with a firing exercise!

Thank you, Fritz ☺️
Enjoyed the video.
That was so beautiful underwater scenes... So sweet... Aww military yeah great👌🏻🍀✌🏻💗😊❣️
fantastic vid mates.. thx for that one !
Typical day off the south coast of the UK> lol "We are shooting stay away". . Nothing Danger Mouse could not cope with. Keep putting out real videos. Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.
By "casualties" he is referring to system malfunctions that might impede the training. So...gun breaks, they'll extend the live fire exercise to allow time to repair the equipment and complete the training.
Oh, this is a relief for sure - that sounds much better than human casualties!! Thanks :)
I've missed seeing you guys this is the first post in a while unless I missed some. As you can't tell I love your videos keep up the good work Thank you.
sweet, headed to Baja....great content peeps
I guess those guns have some range.LOL
roughly 45 days before we can put the boat in the water ...... then we'll join you ... virtually . Life is good
So close, it will be here before you know it! Enjoy :)
So great to see you back at sea again.
Can’t wait to see you guys sailing in Mexico again!
Mexico is the best!
Welcome to Baja. Hope to see you soon. We’re in la Paz. Robbie will be in Tijuana on the 13 heading this way and looking for a ride. Let me know if you need him as crew.
The # 16 Warship is most likely : The littoral combat ship (LCS) is a set of two classes of relatively small surface vessels designed for operations near shore by the United States Navy. It was "envisioned to be a networked, agile, stealthy surface combatant capable of defeating anti-access and asymmetric threats in the littorals.
It would be a combination Landing Craft support ship for the Marines AND a helicopter platform also to support a Marine incursion of a local beachhead. It would also likely have a nice Mess-Hall with tasty food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, the all-important FOOD! Haha. Very interesting info - thanks for sharing :)
Left you a detailed (positive) comment on Adventure 36. Hope you enjoy it!
You will find the current going South runs about 3 to 4 N. From Two Harbors you can get to San Diego in about 5 to 6 hours at 7 to 8 n. Boat speed.
If your in Cruise Port Village come say hi to Deerfoot.
Are you two headed back eventually to Puerto Magdalena / San Carlos? All your videos are wonderful, but those wer very special!
That is once of our all-time favorite places! Luckily, it's right on our way once we head south again ;)
You missed some really strong Santa Ana's here recently. Some area's of L.A, had 90mph winds.
Eeeash, those things can be crazy! Hope everyone was safe.
I hope you had a cerveza or two in Hussongs Cantina! I'm moored in Alamitos Bay Marina, alot of cargo ships and Navy ships in Seal Beach, Cheers... 🍻
Hussongs is still a thing? That place has been there forever.
@@frankd2301 it was pretty crazy in the early 90s... "what happens in Ensenada, stays in Ensenada!"
Who’s on first? Not a great idea to number a vessel 16. “This is 16 going back to 16.”
You may be right, but there would really have been no confusion. Hull numbers are related to ship types. In this case the number '16' is the sixteenth ship built in that class of vessel. The '16' in question is the USS Tulsa, a 'littoral combat ship' - smaller than a destroyer and home ported in San Diego. The odds of there being another ship '16' in radio range are a billion to one, particularly since both vessels were on each other's radars.
great snorkeling footage. curious how long ago you were at Cat Harbor. The water is a bit cold right now!
It was a while ago now - but even then the water was not warm! We got chilly even in the wetsuits! beautiful place though :)
The colors in your snorkeling sequence are animation quality! How do you make that happen?
Aww, thanks! The colors are pretty close to what it looked like in real life - it was pretty good visibility and nice light while we filmed, which helps a lot, and we've slowly been learning how to make small edits to underwater footage to help with the color adjustments.
Hi.
Come on Tye yuor letting your Aussie brothers down when r u gunna bite the bullet and actually fillet a fish?
I'm wondering how you guys are feeling about your new boat?
She is treating us well so far! Of course, little things to fix and tweak here and there, but she's just the right thing for us I think
Shoot the bugs and those rubber lip perch, they are very sweet fish
Oh man, shooting the lobsters would have been WAY easier, but is not technically allowed - tried to grab them, but they are speedy!
:)
The warmonger ships can be annoying. The size of their exclusion zones can sometimes literally exceed the available seaways to travel in our experience. Your tax dollars at work I guess.
Yeah, massive exclusion zones for sure!!! At least this one, was a pretty quick occurrence, not all day.
