As a goalie (probably applies to other too) the best thing about these is the fans cheering I can’t tell you how good it feels to make an amazing save and have people cheer you on
Nabokov's glove save is still the best glove save I think I've ever seen. Everything about it encompasses being a goalie. Challenging the first shooter then the push off to the splits to get over to make the glove save. Absolutely phenomenal.
Ah the 2011 Vancouver playoff run. Absolutely amazing. Best playoff run since the year 2000 imo! Deserved the cup 100 percent. The amount of skill on that team.. the amount of work they all put in to every damn game. Playoff and not. They deserved it 100 percent.

Luongo once had a trio of saves against the Sharks in his first or second year with the Canucks. It was 3 desperation saves back to back to back, I always think of that when I think amazing saves. In those first couple years he would regularly get in these zones where he was unbeatable in, consecutive shutouts just sheer will power of keeping the puck out. It was a joy to watch there was good reason why they made him Captain. Plus the Sedins doing there magic up front, what a time to be a Canucks fan I hardly missed a game for like 5 years straight.
