When testing for leaks I like to lay a bed of blue shop paper towels under cause it makes it much easier to spot any leaks or small drips on the paper towels.
What were some of your considerations when choosing to install a double bowl sink? I'm old enough to remember laying under the sink sweating copper fittings. Love plastic plumbing. Another great video from the Melissa Studio,
Great work what’s the width of your countertop I’m installing the same sink but I have laminate countertop and the clips are not fastening to the countertop what can I do
A trick I was taught... After everything is done, line the cabinet bottom with paper towels, fill the sink and leave it set overnight. It will show any slow leak in either the drain or water supplies the next morning.
Just saw your bathroom remodel. My wife and I are looking for a 22” deep by 42, 45 wide bathroom vanity. We can’t seem to locate that size. Would you know of a place to look? Thanks!
@@WelcometotheWoodsBlog no worries, goes between the nut and the rubber washer to keep the nut from binding on the rubber surface when tightening it. Since you used silicone you didn’t need to reef it tight like when water putty is used between the sink and basket.
Looks great Melissa! Another helpful video! Oh and hey it’s summer….hope to see the bare feet come out to work! Always fun to mess with the safety Karen’s hahaha. Take care!
Plumbers putty is best for the drain strainer assembly. Enjoyable video.
She’s tiny but mighty, that’s a lotta sink for one person to handle. Impressive work!
I love your dedication to learning new things, and then teaching the rest of us! Thank you!

Your husband is the luckiest man in the world. My wife also has lots of ideas but expect me to do it
😂😂
Do you happen to know where or if you can buy those mounting clips? I bought the same sink used and it didn’t come with the hardware
Another excellent video
You are totally amazing, I love it.
Awesome as usual.

This kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher, so choosing a sink with two basins will make it much easier to do dishes. 😊
I hope when editing you caught that the seal ring on the bottom of the black pipe is upside down
Yes, I did know and switched it before final install. :)

How do you deal with water splashes on the countertop? Shouldn't the edges be at the same level as the countertop to allow passage of water?

I like this clip design. What brand is the sink?
Beautiful wife with skills. Every man’s dream!
Nice work! Did the sink baskets come with a paper ring the size of the rubber gaskets?
No it didn't. What's that for?

Are you worried about the backsplash cracking? Love this look, but am scared it won't hold up over time if we do it?
I'm not worried because of the elasto-shield waterproofing membrane. That stuff is amazing!
Nice video, but You should have added 3 chrome trim plates to make the job more professional!
Thank you!!
👍
I wish I could fit under a sink like that.
4:16 If there's any doubt as to her dedication or how hard she's working, look at her hands.
Please ALWAYS use safety glasses when you are looking up to tighten as debris could fall in your eyes.
