I still admire Def Leppard's Ricky Allen he is the only drummer to use one hand after being involved in a car accident. Pure talented!
I'm not much of a Leppard fan but I thought it was cool that they didn't kick him to the curb and replace him.

Being worth 1.5 million today is like owning a house and having $3000 in your checking acct. Lot's of people are at that level and feel anything but wealthy.

John Bonham $10 million . Keith Moon $70 million . Both died around the same time . John Bonham has more song writing credits with Zeppelin than Keith with The Who . Led Zeppelin outsells The Who by nearly 10 to 1 . Love to know how you cooked up these numbers

One appears to be net worth at time of death the other is adjusted to current values. According to celebrity net worth they both had fortunes of $10 million at the time of their deaths.

The 3 members of Rush all decided/agreed that they would share all writing credits and profits/percentages equally. They did not want to deal with same headaches some other bands had due to royalty arguments.

Hard to believe Keith Moon is worth 70 million but John Bonham is only worth 10 million considering Moon died earlier and The Who Didn't have as much in sales as Zeppelin. I think Bonzo had a few co-writing credits as well.

Simple. Metallica has made a huge amount of money, and Lars is even wealthier than James. It's not about who's the best drummer.
Keep in mind these tallies aren't all money made solely from drumming. These guys have other investments. This is more a list of who manages their money best. Also, it depends what their cut of the band profits are. In Metallica most of the money is split equal 3 ways between between James, Lars, and Kirk, and the bassist gets a smaller percentage. In a lot of bands the main songwriter gets the lion's share and the other members split what's left. All depends what kind of deal they have worked out.

@paulshepherd8295 Lars has the rights to the Metallica name, James has rights to the Metallica logos. They both share equal rights to all the songs. Kirk net worth is about $100 mil less but still worth $200 million and Rob is only worth about $20 million which is not bad for joining the band halfway through their career..
