Wow charge 5 really has good bazz. But I think Xtreme 4 is really powerful.... And punch hard from a far distance. You can't go wrong with any of this two. But I will pick Xtreme because of more bazz
I have both, and tbh, Charge 5 performs well, good mids and bass although it gets wacky at higher volumes, but Xtreme 4 keeps the bass sharp enough but fades a bit at 100% volume, if you do biking, Charge 5 is probably your best bet because of portability and is less bulkier than Xtreme 4, I bought the Chg 5 a solicone case online which allows you to put it around your waist with a strap and is very convenient. It depends if you want JBL sound, without spending much and have portability, Chg5 is your choice, if you want something louder, bassier, but bulkier and money is no problem, X4 is your choice, although it does not have the punchy bass as JBL Boombox 2 or 3
I have both Speakers and they are both great, but i'll break down both pros and Cons of each: JBL Charge 5: Super Portable/handy ✅ Great value for money ✅ Good mids and bass ✅ Bass fades at high volumes ❌ Although having bass, it is not punchy ❌ If played at high volumes, battery runs out in less than 3 hours❌ Xtreme 4 Boi, the battery lasts longer ✅ Deeper and sharper bass at high volumes ✅ Louder without fading much the mids, treble and bass ✅ Not so cheap and JBL's Boombox 2/3 are at the same price or cheaper (they both have far punchier bass and BB3 has better sound quality) ❌ It is bulky if you go biking with it and it does not have a handlebar or cloth handle to grab it easily, grabbing it by the strap with one hand just doesn't feel practical ❌ JBL slept bad on this, the new AuraCast feature (Bluetooth pairing with other JBL speakers) is not backwards compatible with PartyBoost (Previous Bluetooth pairing with other speakers)❌, although you can mono pair it with the JBL app with the Charge 5 for example, there is a horrible latency making the experience bad, (seriously it is the same company and they couldn't make it backwards compatible) it sucks because if you have a Boombox 3, a similarly priced speaker, it cannot mono pair correctly. They are both good choices but they have certain flaws and Xtreme 4 could've been far better if they had done a better job solving the flaws above.
It's all a question of budget and value for money once again.Personally, even if I can afford both and I already have a Boombox 3, I think I will stay on the charge 5. So certainly the Xtrem 4 has a sound that goes further but the difference is not colossal either, and for the same price, we have two charge 5. I guess it should be possible to make them work together.
For the bass there is little difference in power between charge 5 and xtreme 4,, but there is much much bigger difference between the bass power of xtreme and boombox.. its bigger.
@@Perfumeguy aka low frequency mode or dev mode, it turns off dsp and limiter so if you play songs with bass boosted bass on high volumes then the whole speaker dances like crazy
Hey guys can u advice me what to take? Either charge 5 or flip 6 iloved the voice cuz its little louder than the flip6 , but iloved the flip6 size much more and the difference in the price is 50$ more in the charge5 so what do you advice me to take plz? Charge5 or flip6 ?

Auracast supports Partyboost 😜
I pair with 2 flips 6s. No problems.

@@13zplaysxtreme isnt 80w, Woofers would cook themselves to death, Boombox 2 is 80 on ac, xtreme 4 is probably 60w on ac and 50 on batteru
And what about charge vs boom 2?
Will be nicer if they could interconnect and play the song on both at the same time.
They can, but the smaller speaker will over compensate to try and be of same listening volume
Charge 5 is a multi purpose speaker darn
