I was in the audience that night as an American tourist, facing the entrance of the various groups. I was lucky to get a ticket arranged by my tour gulde, Carmella.The best seat in the house! As I recall, at one point the audience sang a song called "Roamin' in the Gloamin'''' with people holding hands. Of course, I did not know the words, but it seemed everyone else did!

Thanks for uploading - I was in this with the Argyll's band. Can see myself for a few seconds in the massed bands segment and the fanfares at the start.

the march at 34.00 "Stirling castle" played by the Oman royal guard band....do you know who composed this ? I have tried to search it but have only found a march with the same title but definitely not this march , being an ex A&S H bandsman you might have knowledge of this.....thanks....marty
