You have to realize, the way we do things isn't how it's done in Europe. Europeans don't have aspects of their cultures they keep only to themselves, but we do. The concept might be hard to understand for you guys over there, but you can't just take from Native cultures the way you would another European culture. Some things are banned to non-Natives, and you need to respect this fact.

Those roots will lead them to US and we have to be ready for them. They are us and we are them. She said our People will start forgetting the 'way' and the people of the world will start uniting on the great minising (minising=Island in ojibway) and these NEW people will start remembering what we should have maintained.

i see lot of native first nation singers throughout U.S and Canada who have more disrespect for native culture and singing/drumming... by getting high on drugs or drinking the night before or after singing... even singing intoxicated... and lot of people condone it by blowing whistles on drums with those kind of singers, or inviting them to powwows.. i think that is disrespect... i myself feel honored when non native people partake in native culture.. it is better than having it wiped out...
