@@n.davinci2728 Maybe there is a trend but I guess everyone is different. I'm German, in a relationship with my 'latina' (Brazilian) girlfriend and now-wife for four years and something. We got married one year ago and it was the wish of both of us. The relationship and its hardships as well as the language learning aspects made me identify a lot with Joss and Janik and made me watch their stuff in the first place besides their entertaining and positive video style. I can imagine Janik to be veeery patient until finally marrying or maybe not being that excited about marriage but on the other side Joss and him have been together for such a long time, they have stayed together through so many challenges and they authentically seem to be a great fit. Either way I wish the best for them (or for you guys in case you notice this comment) and I can perfectly imagine them as a married couple.
I am mexican and spent a year in Germany, where i was lucky to celebrate Christmas with germans. The thing is: this is 100% true!!! Thanks for the awesome content and happy new year!!!
Husband Janik? Schwiegermutter? Dude, she got you and you don't realize it yet! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and the best wedding.... ops... I mean WISHES for the New Year to both and families!
Yeah but it works. We only keep them lit while we're in the same room. In my family it has never gone wrong. However the few instances in which it does go wrong keep the firefighters busy every Christmas Eve.
Wow, the thing is called Raclette. You melt cheese ( Raclette-Cheese) in the pans. And you can add what you want to it, that is right, but the cheese is a must. After the cheese is melted you put it on coocked potatoes on your plate. That is how we eat it here in South Germany, directly at the Swiss border. For Fondue you can also use broth, then you can also put vegetables in it and it is easier to get rid of the broth, than the oil ( I also prefer oil, meat is much better then ). For cheese fondue you should not use a metal pot, but a special from ceramic.
Instead of oil for the fondue, you can use broth. It adds flavour and isn't as heavy. And as for the candles on the tree, it might look good, but if it goes wrong, oh boy...
Eure Videos passen so in meine Situation. Sehr gute videos!
yessss, I keep always thinking the same thing, when I watch their videos. Well, my impression is that Janik is scared of marriage because that is somehow going to change his world to the worst and he is going to be suddenly oppressed but in reality, this is what usually happens if 2 people date each other, always date mode and then they get married and for the first time get to live together...ohhhh reality check big time lol of course , coz is different how you show up on dates and then to live with an actual person with all his/her weaknesses, character, etc...but Joss and Janik do live together, they understand how it is to be under one room from day to day sooo Janik 😉😉😉wink wink at ya if you read this..and as a woman let me disclose a little secret about us women - you see, girlfriends can be many, they come and go you can even have 5 GF at one time if you are that creative lol. so marriage is a big bold move where you show yo society, that hey guys - this girl right here, she is not just another monthly gf, a time passer, random girly who really has not that much impact on you...when you marry her, you show to everyone - this girl /woman right here is more than just another GF, she is most special woman in my life and I want to have my life with this awesome person..u know .like this 😉😁love you guys nevertheless, your energy is lit 💕💕💕
@@learntoflyflytoliveaceshig7274 you need to be compatible to live under one roof with someone and don't run away at first chance... that's why is necessary to really get to know the person before you go for such step. But teaching you are right, anyone can live together with anyone.. for some certain time period it would work. When you find that special someone, marrying is like putting an icing to the cake and signaling to society that this person right here I do hold to the special status, we are not a fling, we are not just something experimental. 💯😉
I think he's just German and she's Mexican. Germans don't really care that much about marriage and it's not a priority for them. If they do get married, it's often very late, in their 30s. For Mexicans, marriage is very important and often occurs very young.
In my family, we celebrate Christmas a bit different. We decorate the Christmas tree already before Christmas day and we always eat duck or goose with potatoes or dumplings and red cabbage or sauerkraut. I find these differences really interesting :)
I think that every family has their own traditions. Some eat fish others goose or duck and others even really simple things like Currywurst or Potatoe salad.
Raclette and Fondue are very famous meals for German gatherings but its not really a traditional Christmas meal. The areas with a deep tradition like the ore mountains (Erzgebirge) have a lot more traditions that you could maybe show next year! It is also the region where all the handmade christmas decoration is coming from! Check it out! :)
This Sylvester we made Raclette but we filled the little pans with Nachos, cheese, beans and much more! It was very delicious :) (I‘m from Brandenburg, near Berlin)
Does Janik and his family also celebrate Drei Königen mit die Sternsänger?! I am an American (only celebrating the 25th for Christmas) living in Germany with my boyfriend and I can't keep track of all of the Germany celebration days here lol but I love it! You did a great job of explaining all of the traditions, foods and drinks :) Frohes Neues Jahr und Feliz año neuvo!
Isn't that the reason why they can slow down? They know they are meant to be. They know they will be together and they are so sure about it that they don't feel any rush to get married because emotionally it would not change anything for them ❤
For me as a mexican being in germany, it was sad that there was no Christmas markt because that was one for the things I was most exited about, and in my boyfriend family they also eat Raclette, but divided not to, because of corona, a lot of things we couldn't do, but I hope next year we can, although I did get 2 Adventskalenders, and I loved them, and for some reason the 6 of January my boyfriend decided to leave a bunch of Gifts in my shoes, which I also loved but think it's for kids jajajajaja, anyways, I hope you are all good guys, and I do think there is somethings suspicious about you saying husband🤔🤔🤔 anyways, saludos muchachos.

Krampus!!!!
A funny story of my childhood regarding Knecht Ruprecht / Krampus. I was like 5 years at this time and I do remeber that on the 5th of Dec. I got myself a knife from the kitchen, hiding it in my pants. Why? Because I've been told that if I wasn't good during the year, Knecht Ruprecht would put me in a bag and carry me away.....For that reason I could free myself with the knife!
how nice it is to see you happy new year! by the way, i had seen a krampus movie, but i thought it was something that didn't exist, now i think it's real, i wish you the best guys Love!! 💕
