Great job, bring back some old memories.
At 70, I no longer make knives. From 85 thru 2001 I was cranking them out had a great time. Keep plugging along mam. Enjoy!!!

I absolutely LOVE the shape of that blade. The size and geometry looks to be perfection. Where's my stimulus check!!!!??!
    You're awesome.

I always find it interesting how different makers do their grinds. I always leave like 1/2" to the plunge line & do that after everything else, but then again, I do everything else backwards too, haha... Hope you're staying safe, take it easy.

Well, it's a tad funny to watch , only because I still recall my first real job at Crucible specialty metals.
I started in the grind, where we took big billets and removed all the scale and cracks before the rolling mill.
My grinder was mounted on a chain and the wheel was about 24 inch in diameter and 2 inches thick..
Swing frame, like surfing it up and down, flipping it with a hooky bar,, 6 days a fuckin week . Big money ! 3.80 an hour!

Awesome. Getting into the grinding as a newbie, but I wish to try out some hollow grinds. I know a contact wheels are used for this, but just curious what kind of grinder are you using there? I ordered a 2 x 42 to get my feet wet, ...and I come to realize through what people have said it's more the person than the machine. (Did not want to splurge on a 2 x 72 variable but I almost did lol)
