And their drag car. And their dirt oval... I think it's going to be a hard sell for them with it being a brushed motor

Maybe it’s worth the money, but all I see is an “Officially Licensed $$$ Surcharge”? Would love to see *ANY* rc channel on youtube do a stock comparison battle along with matching upgrades on the Hoonitruck vs the Infraction Mega.

The hyper go by mjx is badass and the price is amazing 14301 it also has a built-in gyro which is totally awesome it keeps this truck in the direction you want to go this is the first truck I ever owned with a gyro and I'll tell you what very very impressed now I have to get the associated to see what it's about looking at trucks don't do it for me actually driving them is what I look forward to

At the price being asked for this truck (as it sits with a cheaper arrma infraction mega 1/8 truck. The 4s maverick truck, and others that put the $390 us price. The $620 aud price... So pretty much at the way cheaper price either the painted body or clear body is a get that and stick it on an on road car already have and get a set of the wheels.. save a few hundred dollars in us dollars and about $500 in Australia..
Way overpriced for a brushed car. I bought brushless apex like 7 years ago for 220$, this is almost double and brushed. And let me tell you about apex 1, it's a junk, my least favorite car out of all I have
I'd imagine a 5000mAh 3S will last you upwards of 30 minutes and beyond. We never had our battery die while filming so I can't say for sure, but if I had to guess, we went 15+ minutes on a 3000mAh pack. -Brett

Bruh, the sideburns are rockin. You look like you're ready for a part as an extra in The Many Saints of Newark. N-oice,. I have the Hoon Truck. My kid is 7 and this is his first real rc. To say he was floored when he first drove it is an extreme understatement, lol. The acceleration is something he was not expecting, and is of course difficult to control at first. We love the truck, and have had many good runs so far. A few repairs, but it's a hobby, right? Stuff is supposed to need a tweak now and then. Overall we're really impressed with it, hella fun to drive and easy to operate/repair. Not brushless, but the run time with the 3s is insanely long, and it's plenty fast imho. Would I prefer brushless? Sure. But it's a damn good truck as is. I wouldn't get it for myself, but for a kid, it's a great first starter RC. This truck is supposed to be more about fun than out and out performance, and it really is fun. (I didn't buy mine, so I may be being a little nicer than I would if I'd have dropped the cash...)

That's a bold price to be commanding for a truck that isn't even that true to scale. The spec certainly doesn't match the price so for that kinda money Vs performance ratio I'd be expecting scale perfection . But the hoonigan sheep will eat it up .

RTR basically means that straight out of the box the car is ready to run, cause most ppl already have batts and don’t need a bunch of crappy nimhs lying around

I know this out of context, and it has nothing to do with this car. Why don't rc companies hire an aeronautical engineer to design their cars? I know some designs are legit, but just look at how it is "hotwheels" like. Their needs to be a balance between anesthetics and aerodynamics

Too many dumping on this solely based on the fact its not brushless, forget anything else. If one looks beneath the surface as to WHY it's $70.00 more than, say, an ARRMA MEGA, it's because several components are higher grade. Simple. The bicycle is a great example. Those who are not in the know, the only criteria by which to judge worthiness is "how light is it"? Get that question all the time. Forgot about the gruppo, components that make up the bike as a whole. That's what makes a bicycle better than another. Not weight. It's the sum of its parts, that makes it superior. Same with this TA. It costs more, because it is superior in grade materials, than say, the arrma mega. And I'm a ARRMA fan. Beauty is more than skin deep. Do your homework.

That as well as plastic shocks, no camber adjustment, no toe adjustment, no center diff etc. real cheap for an almost 400 dollar vehicle

These RC companies really need to learn what "RTR" means...if it doesn't include everything (all batteries and charger), it's not RTR out of the box.
