    They are great cars. I really like our 2019 Tekna. Agree on the dirt collection points at the back and I also bought some strut covers for the front as they accumulate water and then rust quite badly.

      I found with this car that the garage was quite keen to fail the front discs because of rust. This was because I hardly used the brakes. With my new car I scrub the brakes every now and then.

    You really need to get that front nearside tyre replaced asap...that bulge means the tyre structure is damaged and it could blow at any time! Great video though and thanks for posting! 👍

      Don't worry. If you listen to the commentary you will hear I changed all the tires for SportMax before it went back to the lease company

    Can you make a short 5min version?

    Whats the winter motorway range?

    • @johnnysevengun
      @johnnysevengun  21 день назад +1

      If you keep below 70mph you can get 100 miles safely. Above 70 the power is used up like a top fuel dragster.

      @johnnysevengun thanks for the reply, I may need to consider the ioniq 38 kwh instead

      @@ashb8572 Remember this is the older 2018 model. The one I have now could probably do 130 motorway miles. It usually does about 150-160 on one charge but I drive around lots of back roads and I accelerate hard. The range is very dependent on driving conditions and how hard you push it.

    What's with all the glass smashing gadgets?
    Should I be keeping one in my car?

      They have been collected over the years. The big one is actually a cosplay prop, the pen is a very useful pen as well as being an escape tool and the little silver one is a belt cutter and glass breaker. In my family we all have a similar tool in our cars in case of an accident or having to help in an accident. There are loads of different types.

      @@xperyskop2475 No. This was a lease car. I did no maintenance or mods other than get new tires. I watched the video and it looks like a good idea. I will have a look in my new model.
