I guess I am falling in love with country style. It was always mystery to me how you can play one rhythm on the guitar and the second on harmonica, its like 2 layers of mind
Any modern radio music on the radio is pop music made for the lowest common denominator and largest mass appeal. Music like this is the real deal: a man, his guitar, and a story.
I know what you are getting at. However, I work with his uncle here in Odessa. He has lived in many places. But, when asked where he was from on the David Letterman show Bingham replied, "Hobbs. NM."
@shermski4 He was only born in NM. He grew up in Texas and thus was influenced by Texas Music and is considered a Texan. :-) New Mexico is nice but it can compare musically to the talent from Texas
@chilito500 I agree. But you can even compare to the amount of talent from Texas to NM. As I stated, Ryan was influenced by Texas music. He's doing version of Townes, not Don. Merry Christmas
He was only born there. Hardly constitutes "being from there" when you left at age 3. New Mexico was about as much an inspiration to Ryan as New Jersey...
Wish I could of made it 31 people in audience. Unfortunate that I like a lot of youtube posted acoustic versions better then album versions. Wish you could transfer a youtube song to audio device/cd and not compromise quality.......or can you?
superstibbs, I've heard there is a new app where you can transfer youtube video/music to your ipod, however you can only transfer 1 song at a time. So an entire album can take like an hour....good luck though!
Umm..hummm..(voice cleared). What about ZZ Top, Willie, Waylon, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Miller Band, George Straight, Buck Owens..and the straw that broke the camels's back...Stevie Fucking Ray Vaughn. God Bless Texas!
Dan marino listen to his interview lol, states all his musislc is influenced from his native american side smart guy. In NM. PROUD TX HERE BUT HE IS BETTER THAN ANY TEXAS ARTIST!
Why does he have to say the obvious? Don't be jealous of Texas. It's okay you live in (insert the name of your sorry fucking state here) , Texas loves you anyway.
You are a ignorant person. I'll start with Townes Van Zandt, Lyle Lovett, Guy Clark, Jimmie Vaughn, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Steve Earle, Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, Bob Schneider, Willie Nelson, Ray Price, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Calvin Russel, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Toni Price, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, teh Gourds, Doug Sahm, Freddie Fender, Flaco Jimenez, Alejandro Escovedo, Robert Earl Keen! I could go on forever.
I wasn't a true fan of country music until I heard Ryan. Completely changed me. Inside and out.
Me too
If I could build a time machine, and go anywhere in time. I would go to this day just to sit on the floor while this was being played.
a trick: you can watch series on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Lewis Brantley Yup, have been watching on flixzone} for since december myself :D
@Lewis Brantley Yup, I have been watching on flixzone} for since november myself :)
@Lewis Brantley yea, I've been using flixzone} for since november myself =)

The harmonica always gives me the chills
I hear that harmonica and it's like I can feel my grandfather hugging me from heaven.
Its unbelievable how little real country music it out there today, This here is 100% Genuine Country music. Amen
I guess I am falling in love with country style. It was always mystery to me how you can play one rhythm on the guitar and the second on harmonica, its like 2 layers of mind
Something really genuine about a man singing and a guitar.
Ryan Bingham is 100% authentic. He's lived it.
Haven't we all ???????
SOB, this is great! Music like this is needed…
Definitely one of his best songs ...thanks for this raw acoustic version..all the best from England United Kingdom.
This guy's got it.
Ryan is great, too bad Nashville has practically killed real country music.
Too concerned witb image as progress without any real substance and that like technology isnt any real progress

It's cool to see someone seemingly rough against a painting seemingly of beauty.
@shermski4 He was only born in NM. He grew up in Texas and thus was influenced by Texas Music and is considered a Texan. :-) New Mexico is nice but it can compare musically to the talent from Texas
@eclecticmusica he's from new mexico
