This is great little attachment bought online for $40. Mounts to the depth stake bar and forms straight, uniform depth furrows in tilled soil.

Works great, we only have changed oil in fall and new non oxy gas. We like the little one since we like to make rows closer together to fit down them when the plants are grown

I have cub cadet rt 65 that I just bought this for. The craftsman tiller was one i almost bought instead. I noticed they are very similar, so hopefully it will work on it. Because cub doesn't make any for their tillers. They make them for Troy Built, how ironic!

I am curious if most rear tine tiller drag stakes look alike or does this particular furrower attachment made only for Husqvarna's?

I have a very dumb question... With these furrow attachments, is your plan to plant your seed/plants actually down in the furrow, or do you run these and then plan the seed/plants in the area that is still "flat"? CAn you run the furrows closer to make more of a ^ type shape?
I started my first garden this year and tilled the soil with my tiller, however made rows by hand with a hoe. I'd like to avoid that kind of labor in the future... Thanks!

we use ours to plant yes and to till weeds, if you leave enough space in the rows=)

Did you ever get your question answered? Yes, you drop your seed into the furrow. Here's the way I do it....
First, I run the tiller down a bit to see how wide the dig is. That way I can determine how much space to put between each row. For that I just cut two sticks a bit longer than the width of the row.
Then I take two sticks and string and run it down the garden....pour fertilizer on top of the string...then move the sticks and string over. Think like chalking a football field. I simply follow the fertilizer to get a perfectly straight row....plus I just fertilized!
Then I take my two measuring sticks and on either end of the just dug furrow I throw them down to guide me for setting up my string for the next run so I have just the right amount of space between the rows to get the tiller between them. After all is done you'll have the tidiest garden in town.
I use a piece (in my case 4.5 feet long) of PVC pipe to plant the seed. Just put the pipe where you want it and drop the seed into it. Perfect! Quick and accurate. Afterwards just straddle the furrow and scruffle shuffle dirt in with your feet. It's fun! You can ease in as much or as little as you like, depending on seed depth...And later, if you need to you can pull more dirt onto the furrow as the plants grow.
      Lemme know what you think.

Hi hey what up with you tank? Are u not gonna make more videos for you tank?

Hi your question is good one. We are making two videos here, the update tank video is almost done and we are doing update on the RODI tanks too, but since the farm in summer gets crazy with cutting planting and equipment changes it gets little hard to reef as much as we like, not to mention the wife is due in Dec with child number 4=). On side note the new apex devices are out there and we like to upgrade but the funds are little low so we are sticking with the apex fusion we have currently too.
