I really like how Ji’ya is kinda mean and sarcastic, but they catch themselves just a moment too late when they realizes poor Starshine is just lost and confused. They’re still thoughtful and caring in their own way, making sure Starshine stays in their sight, making sure they’re well fed, checking on their general well-being, etc. They’re really interesting to think about.
Starshine is such a sweet nickname! I appreciate Ji'ya trying to reassure the listener throughout, this would be a huge adjustment and they're likely still grieving Earth. Also super excited to possibly hear more about his species and homeworld
I just wanna say: I'd be the worst possible choice this alien could have made when picking one random person to save because friend, if everyone I love is dead, I do *not* want to be alive. I know he's trying his best, but I still find myself crying every episode because I cannot comprehend the magnitude of loss this poor person is going through. It's a strong testament to your storytelling skills that I am sticking it out xD
me too lol i mean I already struggle with suicidal thoughts and everyone I love is okay so like... but I like darker stories so I don’t mind :) i find it interesting to think about what I would do in situations like this, yknow?

I'm a high school biology teacher so I started thinking "Man, all these sights would be SO COOL to tell my students about when I got back to Earth. Extraterrestrial morphology would be so relevant in a lesson on convergent evolution. ...oh wait. My students. ...oh nooo T_T " I do think I'd stick it out, though. I mean...I'm the last living representative of Earth after all. But that is sort of a lot of pressure to be under.
I love this series. I imagine Ji'ya as like an ant person of sorts, and I love his personality. He can be sarcastic but I do think he's pretty sensitive and caring as well.

The prospect of having to grieve being the last human in existence while being thrust into a new world is captivating. I really hope you continue this series, it’s my favorite of yours.

The character, the way he explains things and things he says, the world that is built for this audio, EVERYTHING is perfect. I REALLY hope that you plan to make more audios for this series.
