Dude my heart actually dropped listening to this. Could you imagine? All of our history obliterated, as if it never happened at all. All of the great arts and music and all that we've accomplished as a human race throughout the millions of years we've inhabited our little rock. We think we're so important but, in the grand scheme of things, we're pretty insignificant. We are tiny in comparison to the vastness of space. All of human achievement could disappear in an instant and no one would even know. No one would be there to mourn us or mourn the loss of all that was. It's humbling and horrifying all at once. It makes me feel _more_ like we mean something, actually. Even if we were to disappear it wouldn't void all that we've done and seen and felt. It makes me want to not take for granted my life and the blessings I've been given. Life is short but it is so beautiful. This was really good, my man. I'm still just sitting here processing it. You deserve all the attention.

It doesn't matter that our lives don't have intrinsic meaning, they have meaning in the here and now, and it is impermanence that makes things valuable. Sure one day we'll all be gone (hopefully not as suddenly in this audio!), but all of this matters in the here and now, and we live in the here and now. We could equally say that eating food doesn't matter because it's only going to end up _how it ends up_, but we still savour eating it in the moment. That's enough for it to matter. Like you say, life is short but beautiful. Perhaps it's beautiful because it is short, it's precious because it ends. I don't mean to get all sappy, glad you enjoyed the audio, thank you so much! We absolutely have a purpose and a meaning, even if it doesn't effect the rest of the known universe. We matter no matter what. ♡
@@MageBunkshelf I'd just never really thought about losing all of that human goodness and beauty and still continuing on while being aware of that loss on a level no one else would ever understand. For real, one of my first thoughts while listening to this was that the listener character will never be able to listen to a Beatles song again. They'll never read their favorite book or watch their favorite movie again. They have this memory of all they've just lost but I'm sure it'll take them a long, long time to come to terms with it. It's hard to wrap your head around. I dont think I've ever heard another roleplay video that's made me think as deeply as this one. Thanks again. ;)
I considered briefly for the part 2 if maybe the speaker character could've saved a backup of the internet, be like "btw here's a tablet, I put your internet on it", but I love the way you're thinking about this. Those memories are all the more valuable when it's all gone and just a memory. The listener just has to make do and start again as best they can, with the speaker to help. And no worries! i came here for a fun asmr experience and now i’m sobbing at 2:44 am at the idea of all of this. all i can imagine is myself collapsing to the floor and screaming out every ounce of agony in the hall as soon as that door shuts.
I'd probably start screaming out in the hallway, which is sad to think about but probably hilarious from his perspective. You just hear muffled screaming in the distance
Just the way you make your audios so full of emotion, and the kind of emotions not many other asmr stories tackle. Like, usually, the horny/yandere/tsundere audios want to drag out the emotion from the listener but this is just, the character just IS. The outside force, rather than the voice character, making Y/N feel all these feelings and the alien just reflecting that and making it *more* is just SO WELL WRITTEN AND PREFORMED. Not often I find myself have enough patient though an audio story that's not focused on flirtyness but wow this held up so well all the way through!!!

Oooh!! Wow!! Im really loving the subtle bits of world building sprinkled in! Losing your whole livelyhood has to be painful, but im excited to see how the story unfolds, and if the listener can find their place in the universe after everything!!
Imma just say, this was breathtaking. An absolute rollercoaster of emotions, I can't shake it out my head how undeniably miserable the listener must be. Imagine living a normal day and then suddenly being abducted, how anxiety inducing that must be and that from 7.8 billion, wiped out thus leaving only you. Sure Mr. Alien may say you are lucky and you really are! Well statistically speaking, That's like less than 0.5 percent chance of getting saved, but tbh I wouldn't feel lucky at all. The fact that Mr. Alien didn't sugarcoat anything about how there's nothing to blame is heart breaking, because humans tend to blame somethin to survive the pain but in that situation, you have to fully face the fact that the only world you've ever known, the world that looked so significant and strong is demolished instantly as if it were only paper torn out of a notebook. The crushing pressure of fear, sadness, paranoia and so on must have been intense and the fact that I got myself so invested in this to debate and feel even a smidge of how much pressure listener feels goes to show just how amazing this was presented, When Mr. Alien pointed out how we were crying? My heart. freakin. ached. not gonna lie though the last bit with Mr. Alien trying to fill in the silence with random noises got me laughing. Sorry this was long but Thank you for all the hard work, we appreciate it, you are Amazing!
This made me cry so hard damn Like just imagining everything you know and loved gone in a matter of seconds Watching it being irreversible destroyed with nothing you can do about that. Like your family, friends, your home , anything related to you current live I would go insane probably

I had legit chills when the captain sent out that broadcast....7.8 billion deceased Jesus christ just utterly incomprehensible to imagine literally all life on this planet eradicated in an instant, nothing can be done to stop, slow or preserve nothing remains just a smoking wasteland....
There are the two Voyager probes that are left and I believe I heard one of them has a blood sample on them. I mean theoretically with the right tech and a bit of ingenuity you have all you need to save a species with the two samples A little gene editing and cloning. But damn.
Me: I need to stop using true crime documentaries as background noise while I work, it's exacerbating my anxiety. *puts on my favorite audio drama, wherein the entire Earth is destroyed* Ahh. That's better. Much more relaxing.
