Mariah's the best judge ever. She's actually a coach/mentor/advisor... not just a critique. She helps build talents and hone their respective vocal crafts.
It's obvious the contestants respect Mariah and listen to her advices even though it's long. She's really trying to guide the contestants get better at their musicality beyond the show to get a real career going but ofcourse the public and the media just wants to see drama instead of actual guidance.
I really wish Mariah had a better experience on idol so she’d consider doing a different competition show. She’s really good at critiquing without being harsh about it. She really seems to care about them both as artists and people. I think giving her a chair on The Voice would be really good for her and for the contestants on the show
She really cares about the current state of music which she has stated is not in the best way right now. For her it’s not just about judging them but also making them the best artist can be so that when she does hear them on the radio, she doesn’t feel like she didn’t do her best to help them succeed.
