Rescuing passengers from a derailed train: two German firefighters tell their story

Five passenger carriages were involved when a regional train derailed in southern Germany, June 2022. Two firefighters from the nearby Garmisch and Partenkirchen Fire Departments explain how the battery-powered Pentheon tools enabled them to extricate all patients from under the carriages in under 40 minutes. The freedom of movement that the cordless Pentheon tools offered when climbing through the carriages made all the difference.
