I think God is pleased if you uplift Him and His values. I think you can have a great melody and have beautiful lyrics on top of it. It can help people out especially the youth who dont really have that many options when it comes to the billboard charts. Songs Like am I wrong nico and vinz or hallelujah by funbi or also shackles by mary mary are examples of hits with good messages.
I think some musicians in the world dont sing about the devil directly, but they sing about his values, and its influencing the youth, so christian singers need to sing about God's values, such as love, forgiveness, reconciliation, mercy etc. God is interested in guys finding a good wife, and having brotherly love for each other. I really wish someone with a gospel background could bring romance and friendship back to the for front, just like boys to men etc.
If people cant find violent music on the radio, but all they encounter is love, the world would be so different.
