Olympiakos fan. After Gerrard knocked us out of CL with THAT goal, I decided to follow them the rest of the campaign. Istanbul happened, next year the FA cup happened. In the PL because of this man until this day I follow Liverpool. What a player.
@@ismith9826 wtf are you a plastic or what? When did you see Gerrard injuring players with the dirty tackle? This is Gerrard’s tackle, not Roy Keane’s or Paul Scholes tackles, one tackles dirty bad intentionally while the other can’t tackle and unintentionally makes dirty bad tackles respectively.. lol
A prime Gerrard (2004/05, 2005/06, 2006/07), would crunch u with a clean tackle, embarass u with a great piece of skill or a great dribble, and then either play a superb long ball, make a great assist or score a goal.
@@george._mav Gerrard from 2007-10 was just as beast. Even in 2010-12, Gerrard was still beast but he just wasn’t doing it week in week out, he still was consistent but not unto his level. However, I loved young Gerrard from 2000-2003 too.
"Should have been sent off in numerous derbies but got away with it everytime" erm....except for the two Liverpool-Everton derbies where he was sent off ...
@@chrisrivers2701 well, he played in 32 derbies got carded several times... its a contact sport. Do everton players never make tough tackles in Derbies? The bitters have always resented Liverpool having quality players... must have been really annoying having to watch ale-house players week in-week out, while we had real world class players across the park... ah-well never mind eh?
@@TheComputec ye shame, what's also a shame is the real reason everton fans are bitter and it has nothing to do with the quality of Liverpool players, it has something to do with the fact that Everton where punished for something Liverpool fans did. Getting kicked out of Europe destroyed Everton and unlike Liverpool Everton never had the money when the ban was up to replace what we had lost as always Liverpool threw money at it and it went away, I wait for your victim status response if your a Liverpool fan.
@@chrisrivers2701 No argument from me when it comes to Liverpool fans at heysel. But don't think for one second that Liverpool were the only team that experienced infiltration by hooligans. Heysel could have happened with any two clubs at that time, just like Hillsborough could have happened to any clubs at that time. Holiganism was rife across both of the top leagues in the UK and across Germany and Italy. Although what the fuck any of that has to do with bitter blues booing Liverpool PLAYERS is beyond me...

Prime Stevie G. Crunches you with a tackle then goes on to the other end to assist and score. A complete midfielder.
but now Liverpool cry their eyes out when Jordan Pickford makes the same tackle.
@@ismith9826 Not even close to the same weren't two footed at the knee was it

As long as he played for Liverpool, the toffees never had it easy, he really tormented them all the days of David Moyes and even more when Moyes left.
