So you could probably do better with Jiaoqiu than me, I can't cook hard enough to make him work better than this. But regardless he is just not for this team (sorry non ruan mei havers). Asta would probably perform better than him because you can just run atk shoes + more BE stats instead of speed. He does just feel like a pela though honestly, but he doesn't need the debuff lightcone to perform because his ult lets him add stacks with his basic. Ruan Mei is still the premium all-rounder support and I don't think anyone's outclassing her soon.
Edit: I forgot to say but I am planning on doing ZZZ content and using my voice soon. Streaming is also on the table if you guys want to see that. Just lmk how you feel about it :)

Ruan Mei can't be compared to anyone as a duo with HMC in firefly team. Break efficiency and prolonged Weakness broken state due to delay on top of RES PEN, break effect, spd, additional ice break damage, as well as SP and energy if you have her LC, and even on top of out of paper things like having free skill for more SP freedom and 1st turn ult availability (look at 3:21 you start with 4 SP and an ult ready to go)
And also E2 Ruan Mei brings a lot on the table like 20% def ignore and extra 40% dmg on weakness broken enemies, also I think her Signature lightcone making her ult give 24% extra dmg on all allies
@@Wsio. it's 40% atk% not damage also the 40% doesn't effect firefly, so e2 rm is useless for firefly only the e1 effects them

Jiaoqui looks exclusive to Acheron and thats it. RM simply is the best support for break teams. She adds dmg through weakness efficiency, RES Pen, and break extension
he works well with ratio too but ig ratio already has the FUA team w topaz as the fire dps

Ruan Mei is the best right now because she is the only one that goes into that direction but she is a DoT support first and foremost. Break will get dedicated supports soon that allow for harmony MC and Ruan Mei to be replaced

@@Steel12able on almost every other team she performs basically Identical to Robin. DoT and break are the only teams in which she clearly beats Robin while she loses out massively against Robin on follow up. Ruan Mei works on so many teams because those teams weren’t filled with dedicated Harmony characters yet but the only teams in which she excels are DoT and break

I think is just that yunli has a big nuke in her ultimate plus taunt and her counter is aoe by default, so clara 2.0

But if you're someone who has both Acheron and Firefly, it will be nice to have Jiaoqiu so that the two won't be competing over the same supports.
But Acheron and Firefly use two very different support. It's more like Firefly and Kafka fighting over Ruan Mei.

Why stop there? Pair her with Ratio too and watch the madness happen as they repeatedly set off each other's FUA.
Or, even more madness, get Topaz in there too and watch the enemies get deleted from existence.

@@skennylegend1835 Wait, really? I thought it was. Ratio's skill and Numby both count as debuffs, it's more than enough. And, if not, you can always resort to his ult. Or, at least, I thought that.
@@flippedmasterguardianthose who are marked with numby is considered as a debuff so yes numby mark and ratio is enough or you could go beyond and add aventurine with marketing lc to solve the debuff problem
@@flippedmasterguardian ratio isnt guaranteed. It's better to rely on topaz e0s1/e1s1 and/or get adventurine E0S1.
idk if this will be anyone best team but im planning to maybe do jiaoqiu, ruan mei, and luocha. I want to create a field team where all field effect is in play, prob not the best setup but i wanted to try it.
I do have an e2 acheron (got lucky) so most likely thats the setup, though its best if i just use sparkle instead of ruan mei but i want the field effect cause why not XD

The healing was never part of his kit since the release of the beta. It didnt go through.
That's why he's fighting with ruan mei in this video rather than galla.

So is he worth it? I've been playing for almost 6 months now (started at the end of Kafka's rerun) banner and im not sure what to go for next. I have Acheron + her signature lightcone, Jingliu, Aventurine, Firefly and Ruan Mei as my limited 5* so far (and i have the free Dr. Ratio, E1 Welt, Bronya and an E1 Bailu).
The teams i am using right now are Acheron, Pela, Guinaifen and Aventurine for my first team and Firefly, Ruan Mei, HMC and Gallagher for my second team. I can currently beat floor 11 of MOC with full stars but die on 12 lol, i have 11 stars for Apocalyptic Shadow and 8 stars for Pure Fiction cuz that is the game mode that i am struggling with the most right now (and yes i have a built Herta but don't have any other good Pure Fiction characters).
Jiaoqiu is amazing for Acheron, but not that significant in many other characters. If you like to upgrade your Acheron, then go for him.
Wow almost same as mine. Started in Jan this year for me. Dun have jingliu but have robin. In MOC 12 my Acheron team (Acheron, welt, pela, aventurine) took like 6 or 6 cycles but firefly team does it in 2 or 3 cycles in the second node and I got my first 3 stars moc 12 clear. So will be getting jiaoqiu to upgrade team Acheron.
Has a role in acheron and dot comps. For acheron triple nihility 100% def shred from sw pela is still stronger, but those with e2 and running only 1 nihility support, jiaoqiu would be better.
I have a Dot pack and Acheron. Is it better to get Ruan or wait for Fox?

So he is kinda only good with Acheron? I think they will buffs his multiplier, and nerf the stnergy with Acheron a little bit to balance it. Otherwise he doesn't really needed for other team than Acheron bcs we have Pela for free.

Is Jiaoqui a must pull for e0s1 acheron or nah? Current team for Acheron is FX, SW and Pela. I was planning on pulling for him but some leaks suggests(not 100%) that he'll have Swan as the companion rerun and i want her as well for my Kafka.
Not a must pull (for now). We will see v3 in a day or two.

@@uniwolfgamer1094 In that case you will have to pick what to prioritize. With BS, your DoT damage will be massive, but with Jiaoqiu you will be able to stack up Acheron the fastest, as he will apply debuff even on the enemies' turn.
You can also go for both, undergoing your support, and pray that enemies die before they kill you (or you can go Jiaoqiu E2 and get the best of both worlds, so he can more comfortably replace BS).

Tldr, he works sort of similar to Black Swan in which his attacks put stacks of a debuff on enemies (these stacks can get applied even on the enemies' turn). These stacks increase overall damage and specially ult damage, so he'll be a beast with Acheron.
At E2, if nothing changes, his stacks will be counted as burn, so he becomes a better Guinaifeng for DoT teams.

He adds vulnerability. It's the same debuff the swarm bugs give and it makes the enemy with it take more dmg%.

why would anyone run jiaoqiu with firefly :), he helps her with nothing just to deal some toughness bar dmg and thats it
His debuff is like a straight multiply to the damage output . if full stack is 45% or 55% (not really remember) so straight up x1.45(x1.55) to the dmg. Alot better than def shred or dmg bonus

Op should trying Jiaoqui vs Silverwolf/pela inside Acheron teams, and or Jiaoqui vs sparkle in Acheron teams, since that’s probably where he’s going to be used the most, + gives people an idea on how much of a dif he is then just running straight pela.
Maybe if you watched the video, it's because someone specifically asked the creator to make that specific Jiaoqui team.

Not even close. Hopefully though HMC gets replaced by a character like jiaqui. The only thing HMC does is convert toughness reduction into super break. Imagine that same sentence on a bonus ability with a skill and ultimate that actually increase break damage.
I hope that happens too, I personally want to run 2 break teams but being limited by just hmc really sucks. Wish they had a 4* variant that was maybe slightly worse than hmc just so its actually possible.
HMC also provides a lot of break effect as well though which is important to take advantage of the iron cavalry set, deal more dmg, delay enemy more and enable Firefly own superbreak multiplier but its pretty low tbh.
@kennethyoung7457 No shot they make a 5 star harmony break support that doesn't do that and more. Think about it this way. If there was a character that was a copy and paste of ruan mei with Toughness conversion into superbreak would you still use hmc?
@@Zevyne The issue is when would that even happen I would definitely use a superbreak Ruan Mei over HMC if that happened but they would have to be signficantly better than HMC to be worth the jades.
HMC already does insane dmg, doesn't need energy regeneration rope, can spam Dance Dance Dance if you use energy regeneration rope, and synergizes with watchmaker 4 pc.
@@Zevyneit probably won't be for a long long time considering they're already bout to bring the chronicled wish to HSR, aka they know they've made too many characters fast. So sure they'll eventually make one but you'll like be a year older by then, if not even 2 years older 😮

@@jackmanleblanc2518 Its awful compared to a guaranteed 0 cycle if you used Ruan Mei instead of Jiaoqiu. This is the MOC where Firefly has the advantage as well so that 3 cycle is going to turn into 4 or 5 cycles which isn't that great at all for a new dps.
