Don't get too excited about 100 recoil; with deterministic recoil you'll need to make sure it's even the best. That mechanic ruins so many weapons, hopefully it doesn't ruin this one.

Honestly, the origin trait is fine. As you say, the increased handling should be decent. Perhaps it will maybe shift me to dropping Ophidian Aspect.
