- You know those days when you're just not getting bit and have no fish in the boat after trying everything? That was this trip. Luckily Billy Baits started throwing around the trusty Senko and put some fish in the boat. I followed his lead and got lucky with one of the biggest fish I've ever caught in my life. That's how I was when I caught my 6.5. Set the hook and immediately thought "That's different!...."
Kept fighting the fish, but the moment the head finally emerged from the water I freaked. If I had caught that fish 1 month later it probably would've been an 8+. Huge head, big frame (24+ inches) still my PB and I was shaking like a leaf. I can't wait to get one bigger. I need to target some Muskie and some Striper too. Living in Tennessee I know that I'm in a land of giants for them all and it's just a matter of time

The Biggest Bass I have ever caught was a 9.1!!! Year n a half or so ago!! It's incredible to see one like this on video to remind just how big some of these Bass get and how blessed we are to run across one like that ever so often!!!

If you want a graphite reproduction mount of any of your big bass google Lax Taxidermy or Fittante Taxidermy. Both are in Wisconsin. I've seen both of their work at the various muskie expo's and they do incredible mounts. You're going to need length and girth measurements, though, as well as good photos. Congrats on that monster bass.

Heck yeah brother, my biggest bass I ever caught was a 9.62 on Sam Rayburn this time of year in the same exact weather. It started lighting and raining, one last cast and hooked up. That’s awesome brother great video.
Caught my biggest on sam rayburn as well 21 inches, but I didn't have a scale so I don't know the pounds

After recently getting a boat and sonar, I'm curious to know what depth you caught him at, and how deep that river gets. Any extra info would be appreciated!
The boat was sitting in 1.5ft of water, and the fish was right on the channel edge. Probably no deeper than 3ft.
